EXCELLENT! We visited for the first time as huge tapas fans. Everything we tried was excellent, especially the lamb lolli-pops. I can’t remember the names of everything but it was all good. Service was amazing. Chef Bobby explained the dishes in detail and gave perfect recommendations. He also graciously brought out my husand a “belt-extender” when we joked his pants were going to get a little tight (see photo ) Heads up other fans of the tapas place in a mansion in Naperville. The portions are much larger. We have never taken home leftovers from the other place, but the same number of plates resulted in multiple carryout containers tonight. Will go back!

The Mousa Tapas Bar is is an outstanding place to go if you want excellent food and service. I have been there several times with my friends for girls night out. The service is impeccable, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is outstanding.

Fantastic food, great atmosphere, wonderful service, and priced fair too boot. Can’t think of one negative. Everyone in our party loved their food, the manager stopped by too say high as did the owner. Really fantastic experience in downtown Joliet, will definitely be back!

The restaurant is beautiful, full of the city’s history. The owners were wonderful and very welcoming. We visited right after they changed their menu from Tapas to Greek style foods. I personally was a bit disappointed that they did not serve Tapas that night until I saw the new menu. Everything was delicious. I had the Mousakas dish. Best described as an eggplant ” shepherds pie”.
