Very authentic food and place. In true Hispanic style. Every thing we got was absolutely delicious. Servers was kind and worked in a team and timely manners. They had a lot of seating space so reservations on s unday afternoon were not necessary. Would recommend for a date or night out with friends.

Came to adobo as a group of 9 after being unable to find a table in a bunch of places. It really delivered!! Great guac and salsa to start off followed by cocktails and tacos. We gulped the tres leches cake in less than 2 seconds. Also amazed by how quick the service was especially since we were a big group. Highly recommend!

Decided to try this place because of the great reviews but I still don’t know why it’s so highly recommended…The waiter kept coming around after serving us drinks pretty much telling us to try the “table guacamole” This guacamole was some of the worst I have ever tried. There was no flavor on it (No salt, no lemon, no cilantro) I would have sent it back if my friend hadn’t ordered it! I had the pictured Chile relleno for dinner which was just ok. One pepper with cheese in sauce with a side of beans

A bit disappointed…I was hoping for tableside guacamole prep but it is COVID and the 1st time I’ve been to Adobe in years, so maybe it’s no longer a thing. I still hope they have the preparation. The food is overpriced,. The menu is commercial Mexican fare but very limited. The restaurants in my neighborhood are (Belmont Cragin) definitely more authentic and less expensive. The day I visited was Cinco de Mayo. I called before driving 20 mins across town to get there and placed my name on the list. Upon arrival, I’m told it would be an hour wait. Party of 4, they somehow tried to play as a party of 2 when the host, originally confirmed a party of 4! All of al the sudden, a table for 4 appeared. Their confusion but it was clearly noticed and committed to memory. The waiter was ok but rushed. I was disappointed the menu doesn’t reflect steak tacos, which a staple for every Mexican restaurant. Yet, I had steak quesadillas. Make it make sense! I probably won’t return unfortunately.

One of my favorite places to sit, chat, n have margarita or mojito with some Guacamole n chips I really do miss them prepping the Guac table-side but I fired there is COVID still out here. I did however did see the guac station by the bar area therefore I knew they still made it the old way. Staff were very friendly. Food was delicious. We ordered the guacamole (yum!! I found the accompanying chips a bit too salty though), enchiladas (also very good), and the brocheta (also really good!). Portion sizes were good. Child friendly – had high chairs. Cant recall if they had changing tables though.

The food here was so unique and so delicious. Watching the guacamole made right in front of you, to your liking, was fantastic. I wash it was free refills because I could even that for an app, my entree, and dessert. The margaritas were shaken right at the table as well! The service was great, the myriad of flavors in the entrees were so delectable. If I lived in Chicago, this would be a regular staple Mexican restaurant!

Props to the staff!! They were running around all night!! I hope other people were patient and understanding cuz this place was BUSY. Our server was awesome and our food was excellent. Just wanted to shoutout to our server it seemed like he was everywhere at once. Wish I caught his name…
