This place just opened a week ago today. Every time I walk by it’s busy. So I go in and order the pho box to go. I have to say it was packed very nicely. They don’t put it together for you when you get it to go. The package everything and you construct it. It was very tasty. A great add to Division street.

The atmosphere was half grocery snacks and half quick serve cafe with 90s hip hop playing. We ordered the viet dip, wings, shrimp rolls and pho Bo – viet dip was best. The wings were also good, but could use a dipping sauce.

I was in the area and dropped by for lunch. It was crowded and there is plenty of snacks and all around. You ordered at the counter and most are self-service. I got the Phở Bò/ Beef Phở and pineapple smoothie.

This is probably going to be my new go to takeout place. The shop itself is very fun and the music helps make it just a chill place to be. There is also a little Asian bodega with some staples like pocky, hoisin sauce, and toilet paper. I got the Viet dip and it was spectacular. The sandwich was stuffed with meat and the dipping broth was delicious. It was a little messy so don’t eat it in the car, but overall great meal. They also load you up with fries if you get an order.

The hainese chicken rice is absolutely delicious. I have eaten the original one in Singapore and I must say that this is very close to it. The amount of sauces given was a bit less, but the taste was almost at par. The delivery fee and service fee, and the taxes were a bit high, given the place I live in and the distance of it from the restaurant.

I love everything about Phodega. The Hainan chicken rice is one of my favorite meals in the city. The Pho is incredible too of course. I’ve been probably a half a dozen times and it never gets old.
