We called ahead and ordered 4 dishes. Shop staff were polite and helpful. Food was great. Just what we were hoping for. It’s great to have an Ethiopian shop within a reasonable drive. Will definitely be re-visiting soon. I noticed that they have.a breakfast menu so that may also happen!

The owners of this restaurant and market are wonderfully generous and attentive. We’re vegetarians, so I can’t swear to the meat dishes, but the gomem has a fresh, mild taste, and the lentils are incomparable—simply the best! We have to drive 90 minutes (off-peak traffic) to reach any Ethiopian food or products. We’ll always stop into Emaye.
