I stopped by for lunch and ordered one empanada. Just one was satisfying and enough for me. I got the chicken salad with avocado empanada. It came with two sauces and both were good.

6 stares would be more accurate. The food is a total hit for starters, I loved the traditional Venezuelan dinner plate , and the chicken salad empanada is incredible! Make sure to get the stuffed sopapilla for desert.

Wow talk about bringing back childhood memories, these are the most authentic empanadas I have ever found in the United States, I lived 3 years in Judibana, Venezuela as a kid when I was young from 1979-1981 and attended Escuela Simon Bolivar. My dad was an engineer and worked for Flour at the Exxon Refinery, we used to go and buy a bunch of empanadas for $5 bolivars and then buy frescolitas which was there sodas. The people saying that this food is not authentic have obviously never eaten true authentic Venezuelan cuisine, I can say this place is a must try if you want real authentic empanadas and Venezuelan cuisine. This brought back great memories.

This was my first time visiting here. I am unfamiliar with the Venezuelan culture, and the cashier was very helpful and patient with me as I ordered. The facility was exceptionally clean and orderly. Beautiful art displays and authentic Venezuelan items create a unique dining experience. The food was cooked to perfection and tasted great! A fantastic little hole in the wall place that I’ll gladly return to.

Empanada Express Grill is the most delicious and authentic venezuelen food I get to experience here in Denver. I have done to a few other locations but nothing compares to the flavorful, fresh, and filling food here. My favorite is the Emlanada Catira and any Arepa is amazing with it. The service is great, super welcoming, and a cozy little sit in area to enjoy this home made food. I will always take a trip to come and eat here and it is great that they offer to go as well for those last minute cravings you may have. It was very affordable.

Staff was very friendly. We tried the taste of Venezuela plate which was more than enough for two people. Prices were reasonable; especially nowadays. Will be back again when we’re in the area. They had vegetarian options as well.

I really enjoyed the beef and potato arepa and the cachaca, both were really flavorful. I also tried the beans and rice, the black beans I was served were pretty bland. This is a small place, but it’s clean and the service was quick.

I got empanadas and arepas for me and a friend to share, as well as an order of sopapillas. Everything was absolutely delicious and super filling. When I came in to pick up the food, the lady that helped me was helpful and friendly. Have been craving ever since!
