Stopped into Classics for a late lunch, and sure am glad I did. While the menu has plenty of options, it isn’t to the point where it’s overwhelming. Be prepared to have a bit of a wait- but it gives you plenty of time to look at all the photos, newspaper clippings, and knick knacks throughout the dining area. My sandwich was toasted to perfection, with the perfect amount of toppings and dressings, and my fries were hot and crispy. Best part? The fresh limeade!

Great sandwich shop with nostalgic pictures all over the walls, going strong since 1981! Limeade is fabulous as are the Fries and you can’t go wrong with any sandwich you order! Go sit down or order takeout and Enjoy!

Awesome service. The girls are the front keep the line moving and are super friendly. The place is very clean and organized. Looks like a museum with all the oldschool novelty stuff in there. My salad was absolutely delicious. And you must..I repeat must try the Lime-aide drink. So glad I stumbled onto this place.

My wife and I are in town for the weekend. After googling tons of restaurants nearby we liked that classics had great reviews. Many places around here don’t, so that was a plus. We walked in and greeted by very friendly staff. Genuine kind of friendly too. Ordered two fries, two cheese steaks and they recommended their famous limeade. It was all really really good. I’d even go as far as to say the best cheese steak I’ve ever had. I like how the roll was toasted, or at least I think it was, and sorta smooshed in a good way. Normally steaks, everything is falling out of the roll and you can’t fit it in your mouth. Not this. Delicious. Limeade was great too! 5 stars all around. Definitely recommend. Thanks

This place was amazing! We were driving to NC. Wanted a sub shop. Firehouse and this came up. We took a chance and so worth it. Everyone was friendly, made sure we were happy. Open since 1981!!! They’ve obliviously been doing something right!

Went for the first time on 6/2/23. Was pretty busy. Made a to go order. Ordered a Turkey club with just lettuce, tomato, and mustard. The cashier asked if I wanted bacon but didn’t clarify if I wanted cheese and since I named all of my items and DIDNT say cheese, I assumed he knew that I did NOT want cheese. Sandwich ended up having cheese and I really hate that. Went back in and told them order was wrong and wanted my sandwich remade. The lady, I’m assuming the manager and maybe owner did two things that should never happen: (1) she asked the cashier did I say no cheese or did he ring me wrong. (2) she asked me if I can just take the cheese off my sandwich myself. That is horrible customer service. The cashier was polite and pleasant and during a busy rush hour it’s easy to misunderstand something. And to ask me to just remove cheese from a sandwich which I paid $15 for (because I got a combo) is unacceptable. She even had the audacity to ask me if I was allergic to cheese. What difference does it make?!?!!! The sandwich itself wasn’t all that great, I could have gotten the same sandwich at WaWa’s. I won’t be back

Over 40 years in business and still the best sub shop in the state of Virginia hands down. Classics can’t be beat….. Thanks for all the hard work and great food.

Cool older place with lots of neat memorabilia. Had the classic club and philly cheesesteak. Both really good. Fries were fresh and delicious.

I just picked up a footlong Broadway (turkey, roast beef, cheese) sub from here with all the toppings. Wow, I have been missing out not coming here. That sub didn’t stand a chance!
