Food is phenomenal! People are friendly and accommodating. The Hungarian dishes are authentic and the menu diverse. I came with my teenage grandchildren. They commented that the experience was very pleasant. They felt a “difference” from other restaurants and would like to return. That’s saying so very much coming from teenagers! I forgot to take pictures we had such a nice time.

I had just had a medical procedure and was feeling kind of down. In response to that I needed something to cheer me up so I requested my wife take me to Veronas as I wanted to try Hungarian food. We were greeted by a lovely waitress named Nikki and she recommended a couple of dishes. We were blown away at the delicious food and service we had; the food was plated beautifully and was scrumptious; we will always go back!!!!

The location had just been opened a short time when i visited. It was good, rich, heavy comfort style food. I didn’t care for the wine. It was just too sweet. The staff were friendly. It seemed to be a family owned business. Lots I want to try on the menu.

Some good things some so so things. The food is great and we ordered a few different things. There was a group of us though and the preparation took time. If a couple comes it will be faster. They are in the process of changing menu, the prices and selection on the web site do not match what’s on their menus. Also say for appetizer they give u one crepe while menu on the website says crepes (plural) and show picture of two of them. So this feels some like bait and switch a little bit… But the food is good and tasty and varied and different from the beaten path. So rating a little higher than I’d normally would for a place with pricing tricks.

We were pleasantly surprised with the food quality. The garden burger was a homemade patty and all the bread we had was high end if not homemade. We were happy they were open Sunday afternoon plus had breakfast all day. I’m not sure if this is every day tho. I will come back to try more since I spied several options and choosing was a struggle. The staff is mostly Hungarian and seem to take this Hungarian restaurant venture quite seriously.

A Hungarian restaurant in the periphery of St Armand’s Circle. We sat outside where they have several tables and a bar stand as well. The staff were friendly and the service was fast. My wife really liked the steak salad. I had the Bakonyi Szelet. How would I describe it…mouthwatering, knee-buckling, eyes rolled back in my head delicious…yep…all of those. This was fantastic! Such an authentic take on one of the most satisfying and hearty dishes on the planet! If you like German food, think of the best Jaegerschnitzel you have ever had and add 100% yummy to that!
