Given all the hype we decided to check it out for Sunday brunch. We were with our 3 year old who was pretty hungry

This place was almost like a hole-in-the-wall experience. It seemed as though we were in a speakeasy. The vibe was super nice. It’s set back in the alleyway so don’t get discouraged if you can’t figure it out from maps. The food was great. I definitely recommend the vodka rigatoni. The truffle pasta is a close second! The staff was quick to make sure we were doing okay as well.

Awesome food and atmosphere. The interior feels like something in between an episode of Mad Men and a classic Bond film. Everything was very tasty, including the sushi, which seemed like an odd inclusion for the menu. Highly recommend the corn bread. Lots of gluten free options as well.

Delicious bites in a very cozy setting. They have a great happy hour as well! I enjoyed oysters, truffle bucatini, a chardonnay the server recommended, and a couple desserts. Can’t wait to go back and try more of their menu!

The ambiance is super cute. I had a salad which was nice and crisp with a light dressing. Vodka sauce/rigatoni was nice but more mild than I’m used to. Lobster pot pie could have had a bit more lobster. Butterfinger pie was heavenly. Mocktails were excellent and big. I’d definitely return.

Beautiful hidden gem in West Loop that makes you feel like you’ve been transported into the heart of Italy. We sat at the lobster bar to enjoy their great Happy Hour deals. Drink options were great, and even the espresso martini was included in the deal. The only thing we ate was the Crab Rangoon which were ok, but we’ll need to come back for a full meal to better review the food. Looking forward to our next visit though!

What a place! Located off Green Street, the pathway to get to the restaurant is charming & lovely, even while under construction! And once your inside…..WOW! Outstanding food, outstanding service, and perfect atmosphere! I loved every minute. My dirty martini was a real treat! Expensive…but worth it!

Really fool looking place in a great area of Chicago. Parking is a bit challenging to be real close, but not too far away for street parking. Steak Frites was good. Steak was seasoned nicely with a little char. Maybe a bit over cooked because it was so thin, but not bad. Fries were a little too crispy, but again, very tasty. We had some cornbread that was delicious. Also the mushrooms side/appetizer was really good. Overall enjoyable, but on the expensive side with only a couple adult beverages.

Went to Trivoli Tavern with my gf for our last evening in Chicago based on a recommendation from a friend. I originally had my eyes set on their cheeseburger but changed my mind after having the Au Cheval cheeseburger earlier in the day. We ordered oysters, shrimp cocktail, clam chowder, truffle pasta, and the sticky date cake. All of the seafood was super fresh and the truffle pasta was delicious but a tad rich for my taste. I was very full from a big day of eating but the server convinced us to try the sticky date cake. I love dates but have never had a sticky date cake before so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Then it came out and I took a bite… nothing could have prepared me for how unbelievably good this date cake was. I immediately put it in my Mt. Rushmore of desserts because it was THAT GOOD. I’ll be back to Trivoli next time I’m in Chicago 100%

We sat at the bar because there were no other available seats outside or inside, even though a couple tables inside were empty our entire stay.
