Ok food. Fries came under cooked even though we asked for WELL DONE hard fries. Asada meat a little tough it’s ok. Pork in salsa not good at all. The salsa itself is too watered down. You’ll find better at a Cermak produce. The only thing that was actually good was the gordita with chorizo and potato. I would rate this place a five out of 10. I will not be returning here! The rice is OK the beans have no taste.

I was disappointed with the food. The rice was hard, no flavor, look old, and the taco meat was burnt, chewy and dried. My daughter almost choke on it! I got my order deliver and had two gorditas missing and they claim my order was complete and rudely hung up on me. First and last time I get anything from this place.

Absolutely love the food here! It’s a very cozy restaurant and a nice place to stop by on a cold day to get some atole de nuez. They have the Mexican basics (like tortas, tacos, and gorditas). Food was delicious. However, when it came to our bill, not so great. ALWAYS CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS HERE. We ordered 5 drinks, which ended up being $13.75 for the 5 drinks. And then we get charged an additional $5 because of a large drink. We did not order a large drink. Isn’t it already assumed that we got charged $13.75 for the 5 drinks?? Why get charged $5 EXTRA?? Once we got our receipt, we noticed that we were charged with a service tip of $10.08. We did not put a tip when we paid with card because we have already given the waitress a cash tip directly!!!!! They charged us their tip of $10.08 additionally! Seriously check your receipts at this place. When we called back to let them know about the extra charges, the girl on the phone didn’t even know how to explain that additional $5 charge on the “large drink”, along with explaining that if 2 people only dined in the $10.08 service tip charge would have no been charged. She went on to further explain that since 3 people dined in, that was the reason that the $10.08 service tip was charged. Ridiculous.

All I can say is the food is always delicious and the service is amazing. I come here regularly and I can’t get enough! I’ve tried the quesabirria, guacamole, enchiladas verdes, and flour gorditas de picadillo! Everything I’ve tasted is always flavorful! One of my favorite places to eat! I love it here!

Very impressed with the food. The place was busy (went on a sunday), but it didn’t seem to effect service or quality. Our waitress was great and personable. The dining area is small, and would feel claustrophobic if at capacity.
