What a gem! Immediately welcomed with a smile (Robin), and made to feel right at home. This is a family owned Mediterranean restaurant- everything made fresh daily. Please do yourself a huge favor and order the lentil soup! Do ask to meet the mom, Hala (spelling), who prepares the food by hand. She is a lovely warm hearted woman. Overall a must try restaurant! These guys are amazing! I usually get great service anyways from Greek restaurants I visit, but these guys are super friendly and can hold a nice conversation which helps feel like at home instantly. The food is fantastic as well, had to get a to go order after the main. It’s also nice having a place actually give us true lamb meat as well!

Admittedly, I did not have high expectations when I stopped in for a bite to eat as some of the older reviews were mixed and I have had Mediterranean food all over the valley (and the world for that matter). However, Great Papa’s Gyros is under new (family-owned) ownership and this has to be the best Mediterranean food I’ve ever had! From the Shwarma to the Kabobs and the Dolmas, everything is so well seasoned and flavorful it is truly next level! Whatever you do, don’t forget the homemade Baklava for dessert!

The absolute BEST place to get gyros. The food here is exceptional. I mean unbelievably delicious. What makes it even better is the owners of this restaurant are the nicest people you’ll ever meet. Everything about this place was phenomenal. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!!

This place is amazing. The owner and his brother make you feel at home they are very nice and courteous! The food is exquisite! I couldn’t decide on a plate, so I ordered 2 the Gyro sandwich and the beef kabob plate and boy, they both were amazing!! The pita bread was fresh, and the beef was nice and tender. Let’s not mention a good portion, too! Let’s talk dessert it was awesome!! The Baklava was delicious. I am not a fan of hummus, but my husband likes it, and he really loved the one they serve! We will definitely be coming back!

Food was good. However, order accuracy leaves a lot to be desired. We ordered 3 gyros, received 2, and all three were covered with sauce we specifically stated we didn’t want. So we spent 30 dollars and 30 minutes for food we couldn’t enjoy.
