It is the Very Best “Hole in the Wall” Restaurant food that my husband and I have ever had! Fresh seafood cooked to perfection and awesome sweet tea. We each had the #8 that includes 1/2 pound (probably more), 1/2 pound snow crab (probably more), a side (we had the mushroom, onion, and peppers, a tiny cole slaw, two hush puppies, and a sweet tea, ALL Delicious for $14.99!!!

Have not bought crabs at Sam’s for several years after my first and only time. Bought a dozen cooked crabs and they were all mealy (mushy) tasting meaning they were probably dead when cooked. Each one I tasted was the same. I took them back. Sam’s reluctantly gave me another dozen, but refused a refund. I said, “taste them” (of course they refused!). Took that dozen home … same thing. Sam’s went in the trash along with their nasty mealy crabs.

I’ve been eating at Sams for over 5 years. And they have never disappointed in any level. The seafood is always fresh and the greatest thing about Sams is you can call in your order, wait while it is prepared and talk it up with the owner who is super cool and show gratitude for your business. Yes there is only one Sams and people around the city loves his food. Also Sams has prepared southern foods. The ribs are to die for, the baked chicken is so tender with your choice of fresh vegetables. Way to go Sams! You and your staff are AWESOME! See you soon bro

The seafood pasta salad was delicious (despite adding mustard to my batch to moisten it up). The hush puppies were good but some were a little under cooked. The shrimp and catfish were on point. Made up for the last time I had over seasoned shrimp. However there were still minor things that made my review a 3. Worth another try.

Couldn’t remember order. Poor service. Shrimp over cooked. Didn’t know 5 pieces of shrimp was 1/2 a pound. Would have rated 1/4 star but don’t allow..wouldn’t feed food to my dog

It’s good but they too expensive. And they need to switch up the hot food selection and season the awful collard greens. The cabbage is safe , mabe a little more season. Mac and cheese 5 stars it self especially with that burnt top you get some times. Don’t do the crab cake sandwich.

Ordered online and get there for the manager to say oh we don’t do online orders I lost a 30$ order and couldn’t get my money back because he claims he doesn’t do refunds nor do my bank stop taking advantage of ppl and take down the online order menu smh food looked nasty anyway when I walked in flies everywhere kids running around no gloves. Maybe it was best I didn’t eat here.
