I was excited to try this place, but was disappointed. Ordered a baked potato. It was about the size of my fist & rock hard in spots on the bottom. The bread pudding was tasty but dry. The bathroom was gross & had to walk through a dry prep area that smelled of rot to get there. The dining are looked clean & servers were very friendly but not likely to return.

I don’t normally leave bad reviews. We ordered food and didn’t receive it until an hour later. Six of us went here to celebrate my brothers birthday. The French onion soup is not sweet, it’s incredibly bitter almost like a vinegar soup. My brother is not picky, quite the opposite and he struggled to eat the burger as the bun on it was rock solid. The bun on my chicken sandwich was also rock solid and the chicken was way overdone and stringy dry. All of us were disappointed with the food. The only thing that wasn’t terrible was dessert, wasn’t great either though. (We tried them all). Even though the place closes at 8pm, they told us they were deciding to close early at 7pm as we finished eating, so we got up and left before we really sat and visited. I’ve honestly never had such a terrible experience and if it wasn’t for my brothers birthday I probably wouldn’t have said anything. Disappointed. The waitress was nice though.

This place rocks! The “Schrammy Burger” is not to be missed. The BEST burger in Pekin, hands down. Great staff, talented chef, awesome new owner. Check this place out! Also, the Brussels Sprouts are fantastic as an appetizer, and you cannot go wrong with their outstanding cocktails. Highly recommend!

We heard about this on Good Eats and we’re so excited to try it. The French onion soup tasted like vinegar, no onions, no bread and a slice of cheese. Worst we have ever had! Brussels sprouts were ok. Food took over an hour to get! Grilled cheese were supposed to have 3 kinds of cheese, but there was only one. The brioche buns were grilled to long and hard as a rock on chicken sandwiches and burgers. The salmon was excellent! 1 out of 6 were satisfied. They were out of crème brulee, but the other 2 desserts (chocolate mousse and bread pudding) were great, but very small servings for the price!

Another couple along my husband and I saw this place on you gotta eat so we decided to try it. We arrived at 6:00 and they seemed to be busy. We ordered drinks and the Brussels sprouts. They didn’t have tall glasses for our soft drinks so we were served with short glasses full of ice a very little of our beverage of our choice. At 7:30 we were still waiting for our food and we were told they were working on it. I asked for our bill and we left for Culvers. I will say the Brussels sprouts were excellent. The service was less than a 1 star. We probably will not try this place again. I have to add, there were two other tables in our seating area and they had waited over an hour and still had not been served.

Can I give more than 5 stars, please?? Amazing restaurant with the best chef around, creative menu, incredibly cocktails, and an atmosphere that will make you want to come back over and over. Great for a date night, lunch meeting or just to grab a drink after work. Don’t miss the crème brûlée or the crispy brussel sprouts!!

Food was fantastic and service was great! Sadly didn’t catch our waitresses name (Dark haired woman) but she was absolutely great! My bf eats everything plain and when we realized the potato skins had tomato on them we explained and ordered another one. Well she took that and went the extra mile and made sure his sandwich was plain too without us asking (We had forgotten) She also put extra sour cream on my potato because I asked for extra on another item. She was just all in all super friendly and the food was worth the price 100%!
