I absolutely love this restaurant. And I am a small business owner so I have a critical eye. The young men who work here are very hard working and polite. The food is always DELICIOUS, hot, and made in a timely manner. As I said, the food is amazing. I could eat here every day (and do a lot!!) I love their Greek salad with chicken and my daughter loves all of their kids meals!

The atmosphere leaves much to be desired. The food was good. My wrap was a little dry, but that wasn’t surprising since I ordered a falafel wrap with hummus. This place has so much potential! The employees were kind. The food was good. The layout of the place with the patio could be so nice. Instead it looks like they’ve started to redecorate many times but never finished any of the times. The back walls are covered in mirrors which are filthy. There were 5+ types of “wall” throughout the place. They could do a budget friendly renovation and it would make all the difference in the world…

As a Police Officer from the Great State of Alabama. I can say without a doubt that not only is this restaurant my favorite to eat at but also the cleanest. I respond to business check/ calls throughout my career and run into several establishments that have bad hygiene issues and several other problems. I never fault the owners because I get it.. life can be difficult and we all have our ups and downs but Gyros Cafe takes the cake with their food service, customer service, work ethic, cleanliness, professionalism when asked questions. If I could give a 10- star rating I would, this is a common spot for law enforcement because of the environment. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Try the Gyro Wrap, it will blow your mind

While the Gyros are authentic and the meat is tasty, it could easily be greatly improved by heating the pita bread. The Gyro could have been excellent, but was just “so-so” as the bread was cold and somewhat hard. The most frustrating part is this was our second time there, with the Gyros being served on cold, hard pita the first time. We placed our order asking that the bread be warmed and were assured that it would be, however it wasn’t.
