If you’re in the mood for some authentic mexican food look no further, La Casita has a variety of super yummy plates at a more than reasonable price! My friend and I tried the enchiladas rojas con pollo, as well as the chilaquiles Verdes. Both were full of flavor and the portions were more than enough! I also believe that they give a little cup of soup to all the customers which is a nice touch, and it tastes very good. Will most definitely come back!

Order the chicken fried steak the sauce was to watering need more to make it a bit more heavy. Veggies some of them were still cold had to leave them on the side. There fries were good like the idea of condiments in glass shots. Area was to dark and menu need more coloring some of the items were fuzzy to read. Lemonade is expensive especially when the cup is serve with mostly ice to the brim also my fault for not mentioning to waitress.

This place can definitely become my “go to” for authentic taste of Mexican food! The place is cozy and the noise level is ideal. Very clean and just the right climate. They greeted us like family and waiters gave us excellent service. Chips & salsa along with a delicious soup is served for starters while you place your order . Orders are out in no time! Tilapia plate was good. I informed my server that I was allergic to onions and cilantro prior to ordering my tilapia plate and shrimp cocktail. My shrimp cocktail was perfect, not a whole lot of shrimp though. My tilapia plate had cilantro and onions on it, I was starving so I was glad that it didn’t touch the fish so I could still eat that. I stayed away from the rest of the plate.

We celebrated my father’s birthday dinner with and friends… the highlight of the night was the food. La Casita Nueva’s take on Tampiquena is a must try, has enchiladas callejeras, gordita with Fajita et al. Excellent service, good environment, and great food. See you soon Gracie and Chelie!

Growing up in my hometown Laredo I remember this little place always wanted to go but we where very poor at the time. As I got older I was able to go and I love it. Every time they have the food cooked to perfection, the flavor is like home. Atmosphere is warm like your dining at home. One of the waitress is so incredible friendly always ready to work. I forgot her name but she has medium brown hair. Anyways service food and Atmosphere is one should go visit every time you are in town. I know I am every time.
