I hosted my birthday party at Matilda and can’t recommend it enough for your next party! I worked with Roxy on the planning and she was always responsive and accommodating. During the actual event, all the staff were super nice and helpful. I was able to put up decorations and they kept my cake refrigerated until we needed it. Also, Roxy makes the best cocktails!! Even if you aren’t hosting an event, definitely stop by for a drink. Thanks Matilda crew!

Back in May, I proposed to my parter and then had an afterparty at Matilda. I can’t say enough good things about our experience. Not only was it affordable, but it was the PERFECT venue for a party for about 60 people. We got so many compliments on the vibe and the food was amazing. They let us customize our menu and even let my mom bring her signature cheesecakes (she insisted lol).

Matilda rocks, our local neighborhood bar with a super friendly staff, good drink selection and lots of TV’s and games for fun. They just built a new outdoor patio for the summer which is really nice, and the pizzas are delicious. Overall a great place for a drink and a bite to eat to watch a game, Roxy is the best

It was a nice trendy neighborhood spot. They had a nice selection of craft beer and the servers were super friendly and attentive. We just thought the food was missing something. We’d go back to have a drink but not in a hurry for the food.

This place has gone downhill. It was much better in the late 2000s. If you want a drink, I guess it’s fine. Food is subpar and service is lacking. It will do in a pinch, but not somewhere you want to go.

Excellent drink selection, good prices for the area, clean and well managed facility, and friendly service! I didn’t have any food, just stopped by for beverages before a show at the Vic. Highly recommend Matilda for that or for a cozy spot in the neighborhood for drinks.
