Love the atmosphere, hole in the wall basement with a very cozy vibe. Started with their Thai soup, very flavorful, you’ll taste all the different ingredients as it perfectly blends into the the soup, mixture of lime juice, mushrooms, protein and the spices. Same goes for the fried rice, again the mixture and all the ingredients into one dish. Winter is around the corner make this place my go to for soup when I’m in the area.

I recently had the opportunity to dine at silver spoon and I was very impressed with the food. I started with the veggie curry puff, which was flavorful and had a nice kick to it. For my main course, I had the chicken curry fried rice, which was perfectly cooked and had a great balance of flavors. I also had the drunkard noodles, which was delicious.

Delicious food. Good sized portions, not small, but not too big. The baby egg rolls were super yummy and good to share. Curry noodles were great.

Understated Thai restaurant. Nice to see some of my fave dishes from my visits to Thailand. Might be the best curry I’ve ever had in the states with a fair price point. Plus — it is BYOB, so be sure to bring your favorite wine or beer.

The place is popular for sure. My friend and I went past 8:30pm, and they were quite full. They initially had one waiter and one waitress to manage the entire place; the waitress seemed to have gone off a bit after though.

We had a very tiring day and ordered for pickup two dishes. The mixed vegetables and pineapple fried. We dropped by for picking up and the host was very very kind and the restaurant had a calming atmosphere. The food was simply top notch. Rich in veggies flavor.and the perfect spice level. 10/10 would try again.

Okay food. Not the same as thai food i usually have, but all Thai food I’ve had in chicago is different. Very soupy. Interesting. Love the location and atmosphere.

Recommend: maybe I’ll try again. Had the spicy red curry and pad Thai. The “spicy” was actually spicy in a very good way and I would definitely get it again. Pad Thai was okay, I will probably skip it next time I order. Overall it is not the best Thai place I had but it was satisfying.
