My kids and I loved everything we ordered. We got a kid’s pho, a beef combo pho, and an order of chicken nuggets (small). It was already enough for us to share. My youngest ate all the lime slices. The nuggets were gone in minutes. The pho broth was great. It was tasty without any overwhelming oil or salt. Once the pepper and lime got in, it was awesome. We’ll be back!

This was a really nice weekend lunch experience. Seating was a bit tight, as was parking, but that is definitely the norm for Carytown! This would not be my go-to for the most budget-friendly or authentic Vietnamese in town. The pricing I felt was fair and while the food was tasty, I wouldn’t exactly call it the most authentic tasting. Nevertheless we both enjoyed all of our food and the portions were sizable. I was impressed with the amount of meat in our bowls! Service was okay, it left a bit to be desired but no one was unfriendly. We were forgotten about a couple of times by our initial server, and the other one I felt was working doubly as hard. But this is definitely somewhere I would come back again! Worth a shot – ESPECIALLY if you live close by.

Pho Luca’s was awesome! I got the vegan spring rolls, vegan banh mi, and Thai Mojito mocktail. The peanut sauce served with the spring rolls is my favorite. Everything tasted amazing, service was great, and pricing was spot-on. It’s nice to have so many solid vegan options at an omni restaurant, it makes grabbing dinner with non-vegans incredibly easy, especially when everything tastes wonderful. Definitely worth a try if you haven’t yet!

The Traditional bahn mi combo was delicious and well priced (came with a cup of broth and fries). The pho broth was fragrant and dark, a bit more spiced than other pho places in RVA but still really good. Fries were a bit too salty but that was the only issue.

Stopped at Pho Luca on the long 4th weekend after driving up to visit the VMFA. I chose this spot after looking at pics and reading reviews on Google maps and I can verify- this place is legit! I only had the beef pho (A1) and spring rolls which is usually all I’m looking for at a pho place. Everything was very fresh and tasty. The beef broth was rich and full of flavor – maybe a little more anise than I’m used to, but it was excellent. If my life was a video game this pho would be a full health restore potion. The seating area is a little small, but no different than the restaurants on the same street. The staff was friendly and prompt. Will definitely go back next time I’m in Richmond.

Pho, spring rolls and wings were great. Place seemed short staffed that day coupled with a lot of patrons which made the wait a bit of long. But 2 people were holding the place down juggling pick up orders and dine in. They were still polite and apologetic. Thank you!

Amazingly tasty, large portion, great serving staff of one lady when I was there. She was really on top of all the orders. She used my name directly attached to my order and was not overwhelmed as I would have been if I was her(multiple take out orders and 6 tables seated with more arriving).
