Overall good experience we were staying at the hotel that was attached adjacent and stumbled into the restaurant for lunch. It wasn’t busy and the server was pretty efficient. I will say the food was really good. We had no complaints on any of our dishes and the proportions were really well. Also I enjoyed it. I would return when I’m back in Chicago.

Szechwan style cabbage was absolutely my favorite out of these 3 dishes I ordered. Shu Mai is pretty descent too. Least favorite was the deep fried pork belly, not much flavor and dosn’t come with any dipping sauce. I ended up dipping with black vinegar, they go well together.

This is a very good chinese resto. The flavors are all on point and the prices are reasonable. My favorite is their eggplant but for this take-away was their very good beef chow mein!! The golden shrimp was good, really uneventful. Best to get their bao!! Definitely will be back!

Fried rice is delicious and their Ube Colada was a sneaky drink, super sweet but a huge kick. That was the end of the yumminess tho. The fried calamari looked like fried onion rings, tasted strongly of garlic and had nothing to dip into. The sushi roll was not at all what I expected, could have used a lil crunch in it. Tables are tiny, which make it uncomfortable when food and drinks start arriving.

We ordered Lobster noodle, seafood Jjamppong, and house mandarin duck. The lobster noodle tastes so plain like water, and house mandarin duck is way too expensive for such little portions, and it has a weird taste(and its not even Chinese food teste). Only thing acceptable is Jjamppong. And the water glass isn’t so cleaned up too.

I just stopped into the restaurant to order a birthday meal for my husband. I go there regularly. On this day, I place an order for sushi to eat and after I eat I wanted to place a fairly large to go order. After watching a girl on the phone, I approached a waitress and asked where the bartender was. She said she would take my order. After giving her all of my items, she told me that she was going to place all of the items together. I said don’t do that because I want to eat my sushi before the to go order comes out. I asked to speak with the manager. He was very rude.He did not care that I come there regularly and basically told me to leave. In his words, he told me “bye”after I took an uber from across town to support their business. The rude manager is behind the bar because bartender is in the kitchen cooking for the boss, I was told.

When I dined in the food was great. However when I got take out things went left. I ordered the everything rice and the steak pieces were literally little dots and I didn’t see any chicken pieces. The sesame chicken was soggy and the maki taste like dishsoap. Not very tasty last night. I added a pic so you could see the steak dots.
