Hunan in Amory was a pretty good restaurant at one time. Now it is filthy. The window sills are filthy . Food on the carpet. Empty boxes and trash near the checkout. The door to go in and out the kitchen very nasty.We ate buffet. Some of the dishes cold. Had to ask for some dishes to be filled again, they were empty. Checkout was a nightmare . The guy at the register dropped my fortune cookie on the floor, picked it up and gave it back to me. I asked for another. He put that one back in the box with the others and gave me another one out of that box. I threw both in the garbage and he went off on me screaming and pointing his finger in my face for me to leave his restaurant. Needless to say we will not return. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

I wish I had looked at the reviews before I went to Hunan Chinese. I used to go by there before the pandemic and they were a good place but what I saw on this trip was not good. The place is not clean, not clean in the area you can see so you know what you can’t see is worse. Then when leaving I drove around back, the smell is horrible and you can see the area is nasty.

Building has water stains everywhere. And the price was way too much for what we got. It used to be a great place to eat. It looks like it has new owners, which may explain why it isn’t what it used to be.

I ordered shrimp fried rice with general chicken. It literally had 3 baby shrimp in the whole dish. I got 2 small crab Rangoon, no egg roll, and egg drop soup with literally no egg. What has happened to this great place to eat?!?!?

Very limited buffet. But what is there is VERY good. Plus the price is great. Personally I prefer less selection of better food than 10 times the selection of no so good food at twice the price like China Capitol in Tupelo.
