Best Mexican food I’ve ever had. The torta was pillowy, the sauce set up was perfect, the accompaniments were juicy and plentiful. I loved the decor of the space and it felt so authentic. I hope this place stays around for a long long time. Will most definitely be back.

Y’all, don’t be sleeping on this place. It’s a small authentic taqueria in the interiors of Logan Square. But this place has the best chicharron tacos I’ve tasted so far in the whole of Chicago. Their quesabirria, asada, pastor, and chorizo tacos are equally delicious. The prices are unbelievable, the food is chefs kiss. I’ve picked up a late dinner at this joint so many times, I’ve lost count.

That’s a good taco. The meat is flavorful–smokey, charred, tender. Fresh tortillas. Classic house salsas. BYob.

A homey food spot serving authentic Mexican food. Even though our server didn’t speak much English, the hospitality was there and it actually added to the experience. The tacos were filling and it’s BYOB, so you can have yourself a pretty nice meal for cheap! Will definitely be coming back next taco tuesday.

One of my favorite restaurants. The Gordita, tostatas, burritos & tacos are worth the travel. The entire staff is always so nice. I used to go to the North Avenue location, but Armitage is better.

My favorite tacos on the northwest side of Chicago. The Al Pastor is great. Bistec Encebollado is made per order. Their salsa is delicious. Overall, the food is on point. Prices have creeped up after the pandemic, but at least the menus have printed prices now instead of pieces of tape covering the price with no or inaccurate pricing. The service is hit and miss, but as long as I get my fix, I’m good. The atmosphere is a scrappy rustic theme. The food has never disappointed me.

They bring out the chips and salsa at first. The chips are so hard that you have to have dental insurance just for this restaurant. Then the food is just greasy and doesn’t look appetizing at all.

I got lucky finding this spot. Was headed somewhere else for tacos, but was closed. Glad to have found this. Staff was super friendly, helpful, and fast. We got the steak tacos, and pastor tacos. Both were delicious. We will be back to try other dishes. I got my eye on the chilaquiles.

Nice small place. Food is decent, I’ve had better but good for a quick cheap bite. Prices are good. They have parking in the back which is good, street wise limited parking. Menu options are not what they are limited to. They have ice cream to which is awesome. Location is a bit strange but at the same time good. The restaurant itself is Mexican, right across from them is a Puerto Rican restaurant and on the corner is an American restaurant so they got good competition. Either way, always good to try something new or at least somewhere new.
