The food was very good. Loved everything I ordered. I wish they would have had collard greens. The peach cobbler was off the chain. The chicken wings were cooked fresh. They were very professional too. I recommend this place to eat and I believe it’s black owned.

The customer service was good. The ladies were professional and the food was ready fast, and the prices were reasonable! And baby, when I tell you they have both regular banana pudding and strawberry banana pudding, it is bomb! It’s a yes for me and free parking.

Stepping in …my mom ordered Turkey wing dressing, Greens,and Sweets… My order was basically the same just ordering a side of Mac and cheese on the side…. And my son with Fried chicken, String Beans,and his favorite Spaghetti… Everything and I mean Everything was fit to taste. The customer service is perfect as well as the cornbread and Dessert to follow. Hey I will be returning as a retired waitress/server with experience.. I’m pleased especially when I don’t feel like getting over the stove…lol.. Hey you gotta give honor where honor is due. I’m very proud that we have a Black owned business with skills… keep it going and you will continue to have a customer here waiting to try something else those summer. And your customer skills are always good

The food was over all flavorless. Somehow the cornbread was soufflé but missing the sweetness. The Mac and cheese had a lot of cheese but even that did not help the watered down taste. Canned candied yams that they did not even try to make their own. Overall, very disappointing experience.

I ordered their most popular items on Uber Eats. The dressing sweet potatoes mac n cheese meatloaf the muffins were the beat thing I had and even that was mid. The mac n cheese and the dressing both have a very odd after taste almost like there’s some sort of chemical in there that shouldn’t be. I’m throwing it in the trash. Please save y’all money!!!

Ordered from this restaurant for the first and last time. The meatloaf looks like it came out of a can and doesn’t look like real meat. The black eyed peas were under cooked and needed seasoning. Whoever packaged the meatloaf dinner did a poor job because the Mac n cheese was soaked in gravy. And the corn bread muffins were mushy. Totally a waste of money. Reminded me of the dinner described in Rapper’s Delight

I had a long Sunday and was trying a new place because it was close to the house…it literally doesn’t make sense why this food was so GOOD! I took a bite of the muffin first and say, “Ok…I see they not playing.” Bit into the catfish…no games played there either. Yams…my lord. Mac and cheese… . I said if this potato salad is better than mine, I don’t know what I’m going to do…I still don’t know because it left me speechless. Y’all gone be sick of me eating there weekly! I’m walking in like Norm on “Cheers.”

The food was good, but the customer service was even better. I went in today, 2-26-23 about 3:30 pm. It was busy, and the phones were ringing back to back. There were only two workers in the store. One was taking orders, and the other was making the plates/containers. When the line went down the cashier was assisting with making the orders. Those two young women were stressed, I was stressed for them. They continued to smile, be cordial, kind, answer questions, and make food. Those two women are an asset. To the owner: PLEASE get them some help. Sunday is a busy day for restaurants. If these women leave because you are working them to death and dragging them in ground, you may NEVER find dedicated workers like them again. Please do better and get more workers in your restaurant. Today was my first visit and it was disheartening to see these two women trying to take orders, fill in restaurant, and door dash orders, answer the phone, fill the hot table, and make corn bread. Treat your employees better and value good help. Thank you to the two young women for being so kind. Be encouraged.
