The feel of the restaurant is nice and warm, you feel comfortable sitting in while you eat. The sandwiches on the menu are delicious and no two are alike. You can also add other toppings on your sandwich then what it already comes with. The variety of soups is pretty good too. The service was fast and the workers were very nice. 4/5 stars would visit again

my experience today was wonderful at this location. first of all, I LOVE Potbelly’s food, but ive found that not every shop has the same service and atmosphere. this shop blew me away how well they are run. i got through the line very quickly. everyone was friendly. they got my order right, rung up quickly, and there was no extra time for my warm sandwich to cool down too much. i am very very satisfied and I would love to make this my new shop, especially since it’s so close to my job. great job, guys!

I see lots of positive reviews so maybe our experience was a fluke…my wife and I were the only two in the shop when we arrived, and it took the staff about five minutes to even start making our sandwiches. They were friendly enough, just slow and inattentive. They were out of turkey so we had to change our order, and the soda machine was out of both coke and iced tea. The sandwiches were good enough, so hopefully we just caught them on an off day.

Due to COVID, breakfast options were limited around the loop. Potbelly had temporary hours and didn’t open until 9. I was getting a late start so it worked. I had a sausage, egg and cheese sandwich and a coffee. The coffee was fresh. The sandwich was good and hot. Hearty portions for breakfast. They were keeping the dining area very clean. The spacing was comfortable.

I was visiting out of the city, this is the worst potbelly I’ve ever visited, I am used to have orders handled in 1 minute AT MOST, other potbellies have a 4-5 people at a time handling all orders,here you have 2 guys doing everything, the guy getting my condiments ignored/forgot the soup in my order(instructed by his partner), when I reminded him, it was like I have never asked for it. on my visit same guy taking my order was the one preparing one, good luck if someone is ordering 10 sandwiches an you’re the one behind. I ordered what it was going to be a take out for several people, I was not offered a bag or anything, provided a spoon for my soup. Also maybe I am spoiled from midwest politeness, but this staff has the classic I-hate-my-job attitude. the 2 stars are because the sandwiches were good, ever I am coming back to Chicago I sure will skip this place. Or maybe I am in the wrong side, and I should learn big city food places are expected to have very low customer service quality.
