The owner is cordial and provides good customer service. The Moussaka has been the best (just like homemade) in Suffolk County thus far. I’ve been to several Greek restaurants, but Gyro Palace has the tastiest Pastitsio and Moussaka! The Tarama and Melitzanosalata were also delicious. No need to travel to Astoria to get authentic-tasting Greek food.

We ordered pork and chicken Slovakia with a side of rice pilaf. One sandwich was asked with no tomato, it had tomatoes. Both sandwiches had absolutely no flavor. We took a bit of just the chicken and pork by itself, no flavor. I had to double check to see if my sandwich had onions, they did, however no flavor. The rice pilaf had almost no flavor. Very disappointed, will most likely not be going this local place again. Not to mention the price was a bit much, which we were willing to pay for a local place, but not for what we got.

I had a gyro and everyone knows people make their food differently i didn’t like it made with beef i prefer lamb meat also fries were too hard. If this was lamb meat gyro it would have been good with the portion i got which was a lot idk if it’s because i had to wait so long for my order or that’s just how they come i also got a free drink for waiting so long so that’s the only good part.

Always great good and extremely friendly staff here. I usually get something at least once a week. The gyros are off the hook, the spinach pie is divine and if you’re looking for something different, try the zucchini pie. It’s absolutely delicious! The Greek salad could use better dressing but it is ALWAYS absolutely fresh and portion size is spot on. Prices are more than fair and I will keep coming back here get the tastiest, freshest Greek food from the nicest people. Keep up the good work, your patrons appreciate it!!
