Very cool Greek place in Liberty, which is usually kind of a boring place for food. The plates are all huge, the owner friendly and welcoming. Loves my grilled halloumi (spelling?) salad and my kid had grilled salmon and loved it and the ginormous steak fries that came with it. The meat pie was also a huge hit, and it’s also huuuge! The gyro was very solid I was told by kid2. They also had a really lovely garden terrace to eat in, as long as a storm wasn’t imminent (which it was today). Will be back!

I love how the owner greets his customers. The food is consistently delicious and the service is excellent. Yiasou is the best little Greek restaurant in the county. If you’re ever driving through Liberty, you should pay them a visit!

If I lived in the area… I’d stop in to try more food! Staff, service and food were great. I really enjoyed my lunch, souvlaki with side of onion rings!

THE worst falafel I’ve ever had, hands-down. Mushy and flavorless. Cold pita. Steamed veggies. My BF had a gyro platter which was salty cheap processed meat. Prices are very high. The waitresses are incredibly nice so we tipped well. I feel sorry for the people in this area that they have to eat this.

We stopped there on our way to Westchester. I read good reviews & they were so on point. Phenomenal Greek food, huge portions enough for a second meal. The staff was so nice and the owner even stopped by our table.

The spinach pie was the best I have ever had and I have had a lot in the last 40 years. Fresh ingredients, light pastry.

We stopped only to grab coffee, since we had a long drive and already drove 2.5 hours from New York.
