Bangin! Will try to get there at least a couple times a month. It’s a really nice venue. The inside is well decorated.

So good. My family went in because we’d never had any of this kind of food and didn’t know what to order. They helped us make some decisions and everything was incredible! Highly recommend.

This spot is a hidden gem. The Latinx music is hitting you before you even walk through the door. Feel like I’m back home in the Bronx, NY when I walk in. Their menu is easy to read and not over done. Prices are a bit on the higher end, but the food is worth it. Plantains and Empanadas are my go to. The associates there are all pleasant and have amazing customer service. Different person each time I’ve gone, but all consistently helpful and welcoming. Love it. Highly recommend.

My family got a variety of arepas for take out and everyone loved what they ordered. I had the Caribeña Arepa – it was absolutely delicious! I found it to be more than enough for a meal and enjoyed leftovers for lunch. I also really enjoyed the Tres en Uno detox cocktail. I highly recommend checking out Juana’s!

Delicious food, incredibly friendly and helpful staff, and cute. Great choice if you’re gluten-free, and you can get the queso removed from anything if you’re avoiding dairy. The food reheats really well, too

26 years ago…I visited Venezuela. I had one of the most delicious thing I have ever ate…the cachapa with a paplion de limon. I have yet to have another…until yesterday. I have been searching for a Venezuelan restaurant for years. Upon my weekend trip to State College, Pennsylvania ( WE ARE! PENN STATE!) my very first stop was Juana’s. When my friend and I walked in, I was transported back to the seaside village I stayed at in Venezuela. The smell of the delicious food, the music, the family gathered in the back laughing and dancing took me there. Of course I already knew that I was having a cachapa! A deliciously sweet and savory roadside treat. The cachapa is a sweet corn pancake, prepared on a griddle stuffed with queso de Mano. The best way to describe the cheese, would be compared to a slightly firmer, salty fresh mozzarella. Let me tell you…it did not disappoint! I believe I saw The Juana as I was leaving after our delicious lunch. I told her that my heart was singing! Definitely recommend! Be adventurous! Try some amazing Venezuelan food if you are in the State College area!

Had to give this place 5 stars, the food is well seasoned and no skimping on the food great quantity. Tucked away in an alley, I highly recommend Juana’s
