Incredible restaurant with the utmost at home feeling in both atmosphere and service. I ordered the blue collar breakfast with a piece meat and extra eggs. The coffee is typical with cinnamon black for me. The flan was not what I am familiar with so it was not as sweet for my taste. The price paid was well worth it. Parking was at front of restaurant with limited spaces.

In Chicago for a quick trip with the honey and needed a bite to eat. When you first come in it feels like your abuelitas house in the 60s. Very retro feel. We ordered steak taco dinners! The food was delicious! The steak was very flavorful and the tacos were full of meat. The only negative was the tortillas did fall apart. You can tell they are homemade and still taste good. Would get 5 stars for more stable taco shells. Server was nice the red salsa was some of the best we had at a restaurant. Good spice. Would come again.

The food and experience are very authentic Mexican. This is not a taco or Burrito House, this is real authentic Mexican food with a extremely large variety of options to choose from. This is one of my favorite places in Chicago for Mexican food.

Came here after the lunch rush in between meetings I had. Needed something flavorful and filling but I also needed a drink and the space to be chill. The Staff was friendly. Space decor fun. The food was tasty, filling and not super expensive. Will definitely go back again.

Good value for money. Dinner came with warm tasty salsa. Rice was enjoyable. I have 3 issues with the burrito. First, the meat quality was poor. First bite was a giant piece of cartilage. Secondly, its a very wet burrito. Third, the shell was soggy. Overall the flavor was good but I’m probably not going to order that again. The staff were very nice and I might go back.

Stopped in for lunch during an afternoon of crate digging in local record shops. Had a nice plate of enchiladas and a beer. Service was fast and friendly. Food was excellent. Restaurant itself was well0-worn but also well-cared-for. An unfussy, unfancy, highly authentic neighborhood joint that serves good food at fair prices with no pretensions . My kind of place

The fish tacos were ok. I liked the thickness of the tortilla but the fish could have been fresher. They also didn’t give any salsa with the tacos and charged me when I asked for it! The rice was good but small portion. They speak Spanish but they ask you a lot if you’re ok. I want to try their Gordita with nopales.
