I really enjoyed my time at Yokocho. The food was interesting and unique and I loved the decor. I took one star off because I felt the experience lacked a bit of warmth. Overall worth checking out.

It was my first amazing dinner there. Limited seats were available during a busy Friday night and was quickly seated upon walk-in. The music and decor were awesome and instrumental to set the tone for the night. The small bites and drink were awesome. Will come back again sooner that you think!

Tucked away in a new development in Fulton Market, Yokocho is a new spot coming from the same team that brought you Sushi Dokku. Had a lovely intimate dinner here recently and can say it is a true gem. I started with the persimmon side car and then we did the tasting experience which I highly recommend. Special thanks to Mario and the whole team for being so welcoming and friendly and making it a fun experience!

Food was decent as it should be for the food at this price point. However, the service was HORRIBLE. My friend and I were there for the dinner and after we REPEATEDLY asked the waitress if the portion of the food we ordered were enough, this is the food we got. The dinner entrée was barely bigger than the size of a golf ball. The manager came and apologized afterwards, gave us his phone number said he will give us 40% off next time we come here. But this was such bad experience we don’t even want to go back. There are so many other food options around the area.

I recently had an amazing night at Yokocho with my boyfriend and my best friend. The intimate and aesthetic atmosphere is perfect for dinner with a small group. I recommend sitting at the bar. Personally I am not a huge sushi person but I can genuinely say that Yokocho changed my outlook. Definitely try the spicy tuna and the wagyu hand rolls and finish with the Strawberry and Matcha cream Sandro. Amazing cocktails and service too! I can’t wait to stop by for lunch.

One of the best vegan omakase dinners I’ve ever had. Super cool vibe and casual as heck, what’s not to love?

We adored every aspect of Yokocho: the intimate setting, the outstanding food and cocktails, the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff, and the seating around the bar, where we watched the sushi-masters craft our food. Some favorites: the Wagyu handrolls, Momo Fizz cocktail, and strawberry & matcha cream sandwich. Yokocho is one of the best dining experiences you can find in West Loop, especially for fans of Sushi Dokku and Booze Box—highly recommend!

The most delicious and unique Omakase I have ever had! Everything was so good. Every course was better than the next. Worth every penny of the $175 price. I will go again soon!
