Good service and atmosphere. I ordered the 2 piece chicken dinner that came with Mac n cheese, collard greens, and cornbread. I added yams as another side. The chicken was fried to perfection but a little salty. I didn’t care for the yams. The greens were really good! Will possibly come back.

This is the best soul food I have ever had. I came here with my dad to celebrate his birthday and we both fell in love with the place. The server Toby cooked all the food fresh and engaged us in a great conversation. I had the Philly Chesse bowl and my dad had the catfish nuggets with Mac & cheese and greens. Both dishes were delicious and freshly made. The bowl tasted just like the sandwich it was based on and the catfish nuggets tasted like they were caught that morning. It’s not easy to find food this good with such a relatable chief. I cannot recommend this place enough!

So excited to have Queen K’s in our neighborhood! Ate there last night with my partner. Everything was made fresh and well-prepared. I had the catfish nuggets, which comes with greens, mac n cheese, and cornbread. The quality of the catfish itself was excellent and they were so crispy and delicious! The greens were on point as well as the mac n cheese. Great flavor across the board. Can’t wait to try the other items on the menu!

I came out from Jefferson Park after searching all our food delivery apps to figure out where that amazing chicken we had that one time came from. Gaby and Tobey at Queen K’s pour so much love into their food you can literally taste it! I love a cornmeal breading on my chicken, the catfish nuggets were big and juicy, the smoked turkey collard greens are some of the best I’ve had, and the cornbread cake is the perfect finishing sweetness at the end of me gorging myself silly on the couch. 1000% I will be back, 1000% recommend, and am excited to try the fit friendly and Keto options too!!

So let me start by say the owner is really nice and sweet and very much accommodating. The reason for the 3-star is b/c I placed my order for pick up at 6:30 for pick up at 7:45 it was ready when I got there but I ordered yams, Mac, and smothered chicken as you can see from the picture no Mac but green. Personal I don’t eat greens so that was a little disappointing but I did call and the owner said she’ll put down a $10 credit for the mistake, that’s fine. Next, idk what was up with yams but they didn’t have lick of sweetness they actually tastes burnt and you can even see from the color that they probably got burnt and when I eat my yams I hate them to be smashed up. I wish they would have kept them as circles. The cornbread was good and the chicken was fine. I just wish they would have actually smothered the chicken and not just put a scoop of grace over it. It was more grease from the gravy then the actual gravy. But the chicken was cooked good. I wish I could have taste the Mac but maybe next time. This review is not to bash this restaurant it really to help them to improve in areas they need. I am going to go back to try it again and I will let the owner know what I like and not like. Give business second chance.
