Came here for dinner and to shelter from the rain. Ordering was straightforward. Scan QR code and place order online. Each person can order separately, so there is no need to split the bill. Fairly quick service as well. We were coming from a different place, so we had some leftover boba – they didn’t ask us to throw it out which was nice coz most places don’t let you bring outside drinks in.

What a fun place! The menu is eclectic and I want to try everything on it….especially the duck gumbo. I had panang curry chicken banh mi and curry sweet potato fries. Highly recommend giving them a try. Service was great too.

I plan parties for our group of 10-30 people. This has been by far the most successful catered event I’ve hosted. We ordered catering for 25 people. Not only was the quantity more than sufficient, but the price fit within our budget. They catering order came with tags for each dish which was so important for our GF/veg/vegan attendees. The ordering process was easy and friendly over email and delivery was swift and convenient. I am so glad we ordered Saucy Porka for our party… we will certainly do it again!

This place was straight up yummy. Me and my boyfriend both got the Puerta Rican rice bowls. His was vegan and mine was with the fried shrimp. We also got a side of their fries and I got the shrimp po mi sandwich and he got the tostones. Everything was delicious and I can’t wait to go back to try more of their menu items.

I really liked the menu variety as it relates to both flavor & price. I was greeted when I walked in. I received clear menu explanations & suggestions. My food came out quickly & I was offered a complementary water cup. I ordered the curry sweet potato fries, picadillo egg rolls, guajillo shrimp, & five spice duck. I’d order every thing again besides the fries. They were as described but I personally just wasn’t a fan. Overall great experience though!

What I like the most about this place is the price but thats not to overshadow the delicious fusion of latin and asian flavors. The mexi phô is very well done. The broth is smokey and spicy with soft pork chunks slow cooked in traditional latin spices. You have to try the bacos (bao), its a fantastic melding of flavors. The slow stewed ropa vieja is nicely contrasted with the tart fermented kimchi. The panang chicken curry is very good also. But my favorite was the duck with plum aoli. Reminded me of traditional mu-shoo style duck in plum sauce. Definitely will be back!! This is a solid 4.5 stars!!

Very unique taste. Plating dining in is a bit more creative so ask for your eggrolls to NOT be cut (not the same flavor/experience). Great staff. Extremely clean. Look forward to them exploring different protein options and mash ups.

I really enjoyed dining at Saucy Porka. The staff was really friendly and efficient. The food was excellent! We had the Picadillo Egg Roll (I actually didn’t care for the sauce that came with it), shrimp po’boy, and the Cheesy Buddha.

As I watched an episode of Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, Guy visited Saucy Porka. I googled the restaurant and discovered a location in Hyde Park. Street parking is available. When I walked into the restaurant, I received a friendly greeting. I ordered two Chorizo Egg Rolls, Pork Ramen Soup, and Asian Paella. I enjoyed the egg roll, and I could taste chorizo in every bite. Even though the ramen soup was delicious, I will try the Duck Gumbo Soup when I return. I love Paella, and Saucy Porky made my day. The Jasmin rice complements the meats in the dish, and I will try a fried egg next time. The portions were shareable. Although I finished the soup, I saved an egg roll and half of the Paella for the following day. The leftovers were just as good. If you want to avoid the downtown area, the location in Hyde Park is perfect, and you can sit on the patio. I highly recommended Saucy Porka.
