A wonderful experience. Had an iftar buffet today. Amazing taste of food. All the foods were very good in taste and the management was well organized. Staffs were very helpful and friendly. It’s definitely worth trying here. In my experience, this is the best iftar buffet restaurant in Devon, Chicago.

Nice friendly people, taking your feedback seriously, and making sure you leave with a good feeling of food and hospitality. When going to #Shinwari, don’t go to the restaurant thinking only about northern area dishes from Pakistan. They have #Nihari, #Bihari Kabab, Biryani, burgers, KaRahi gosht, Sooji ka Halwa with resins … all the traditional dishes.

Super understated and underappreciated spot. The food was actually really good (better than most spots on Devon) and you’ll get that authentic Desi flavor and feel. We had a huge party with us and the restaurant did a great job of catering to us and were super receptive. They helped out with everything, offered a lot of help and were super friendly about everything. It might not look like a lot from the outside, but this place is a hidden gem and you’ll definitely appreciate the food

Best pakistani/indian food in town!!! Everything we ordered was delicious, fresh and well-cooked. Biryani, platter and especially mutton was very flavorful. The owner himself was very nice too, very prompt in meeting our requests. They also have a lot of seeting area. Nice and clean. Also want to thank the kid who was constantly around in case we needed anything. Will definitly be back!

If I had a negative marking I would have given them for unethical customer service . I ordered half tray of an item and when I went for pick up I was asked to pay in cash !! Who the hell carries cash these days when we are using Google or apple pay. I requested that I can pay in debit card and they can charge a fee but the man at the cash counter declined saying he needs to pay his employee. That’s ridiculous you pay someone from our cash what type of business is this ? I had to leave without food as I denied to come to his term. Is this some way to escape paying for taxes ?

They really need to upgrade. The food was okay. I can set up a better buffet at home when I invite guests at home. They need to get past cheap dollar store decorations and clean up. I am talking come upto the level of usmania, albawadi and noon o kabab. Offer customers a nice clean place to pray if you are hosting aftari buffet in Ramadan.

This place is a hidden gem. Small local place but let me tell you ! It was amazing ! The food was on point. Especially all the grill items. The naan was soft and buttery. Everything from food and service deserves a 10 out of 10. I know many of us including my self would have over looked this place nice because it doesn’t look fancy and decorative but some times it’s the small locals that really make u realize to never judge a book by its cover . We can’t wait to go back and try more of their menu items . If ur going with a bunch kids do not miss out on the chicken broast pcs !! We had to order another 12 pc because everyone wanted more. Pls do give them a try and come back leave a review just like I did. These folks totally deserve it 100%

Their service was awesome but the food is just ok. Best thing we ate there was chicken tikka ,spicy ,just the way I like it. Seeke kabobs ,naans, chicken biryani were all good. Chicken charga was ok.
