We got the recommendation to visit here from two of our friends who said this is the best “authentic Argentinian food” in Richmond, and they were certainly right. The food is fresh and delicious, from the sandwiches to the baked goods. It’s a very cozy mom&pop kind of feel, and it’s sort of tucked away, so it may take some locating, but the food is worth it.

Loved everything we tried here. Empanadas are deliciously homemade and taste far better than most. Spinach and chicken are excellent. The chorizo sandwich was huge and amazing and extremely flavorful. I normally don’t enjoy chorizo but loved this one. To top it off I got a warm, fresh churro because I ordered a certain amount of food — it was amazing a custard filled!!

Empanadas were good, not impressed with the sandwiches, people were friendly but they do not take care of the place, tables were dirty, kitchen is too close to the dining area so the fumes from the gas grill were afecting our eyes, i had to get out for a minute to clear my eyes that were burning. Bottom line, i would recommend the chicken empanadas to pick up.

I drove a ways to taste the food. It’s average at best. The empanadas are ok and the cost expensive. Overall not worth the drive.
