This place is fantastic. Amazingly thorough menu for both breakfast and lunch. They’ll modify orders no problem. Subs are nice in size for the price. The fresh mutz was to die for. Me and my bf ordered macaroni salad as a said for two subs and the guy who took the order literally told us to wait a couple minutes and made a fresh batch on the spot for us on a sunday afternoon. Helpful staff and great menu make this a downtown Hoboken staple

Ordered some meats and mutz yesterday. Usually go to other places in the neighborhood but decided to give them a try. They definitely overcharged me or their prices are insane! When I went to pay, they didn’t offer to give the receipt and so I asked how much and that’s when I realized they probably took advantage. Still didn’t hand me my receipt. So that’s a red flag! Then when I got home, I noticed they packaged the prosciutto on top of each other and not separated neatly with paper! And the mutz was super dry! Never coming again! I’ll keep going to Fiores and Losurdos! They atleast know how to package everything nicely and their prices weren’t insane/taking advantage!

If you look up “hidden gem” in the dictionary, Luca Brasi’s Hoboken should be the first thing to come up. AWESOME selection of breakfast, hot food, deli meats, and prepared foods. They have one of the best bolognese/meat sauces I’ve ever had in my life. Also, their prosciutto sandwiches come with a MOUNTAIN of meat.
