This place is always the best cheddar cheese fries. The owner is very friendly and is always lively when I arrived to pick up my order. I have ordered here twice and each time I was on time and very delicious. Great hidden gem in the city.

The wings were so gross and fatty. Even the sauce (honey bbq) had a really odd taste. I see a lot of people like this place and maybe enjoy the wings or other things on the menu but I was not a fan.

Bodillaz may be a VCU student hot spot, but it is certainly worth well more than calling it a campus-restaurants. Bodillaz offers hands down the single best quesadillas I have had anywhere in Richmond. Even now, living thirty minutes away, I will STILL drive into the city for that perfectly spicy, juicy, thick buffalo chicken quesadilla. They have also semi-recently added more items to their menu such as taco salad for those who aren’t in a quesadilla mood or simply can’t do spice at the moment (shoutout to my friends with tummy problems!) All in all, Bodillaz is a classic Richmond hot spot that deserves to be frequented by all.

Read decent reviews of this place and it was a short walk to get to. I ordered one of the vegetarian quesadillas only to receive the wrong quesadilla. There were a few different vegetarian options. When I brought it back up to the counter and said they made the wrong one, the owner said no, thats what comes on the one you ordered. I pointed out on their giant menu board above the register that he was incorrect. The arrogant owner insisted I was wrong even though one of his own employees tried to point it out to him as well. Even tried to pull the menu up on my phone and wouldn’t even bother to look.

I ordered for them via there online webform. I ordered the loaded nachos. The description stated to pick protein however that was not an option to pick. I entered in the special instructions the protein. I pick up the food and all they put on the nachos was beef. I tried to call them and looks for options to resolve the issue and they hung up on me. Not likely to go back here anytime soon or recommend them.

Went to VCU to visit my son and stopped here for dinner…hands down, the best quesadillas I’ve had in a long time! The portions are well worth the price. I ordered the Southwest and it came to the table overloaded with chicken, peppers, cheese and chipotle sauce. It was enough for me and my 10-year old to share and still had left overs! The family owned business made it even nicer to support. The owner was kind, stopped by to see if we enjoyed everything and talked a bit. I plan to make it our “must have” anytime we are in the area! There’s not a lot of seating space, but worth the stop in and take out if needed. Great place!!!
