After having a great work day, I didn’t feel like cooking for the first time in a while. I had ventured through Gaithersburg that evening searching for a place never tried. Omg, visited Ela Mesa Taste of Greece, it was not many Guests there but tried it. The bartender (owners wife) was very kind and nice. She explained the menu but Inwas focused on the Calamari which was awesome, not too much but was great. The chicken kebab was great as well. This place deserves much traffic. They just celebrated their one year anniversary. With the great food, ambiance and reasonable pricing, they will make it. I had taken half to go, delicious I tell ya!!!

A huge find for delicious food, great service, and an enjoyable date night place we look forward to returning too. We got the specials of roasted goat and braised lamb. Both were fork tender, falling off the bone, slopping up with bread (pita) deliciousness.

We had an excellent first experience here! The service was phenomenal, the food and beverages were excellent, the plating was wonderful, all in a casual atmosphere. George, the owner, made sure every guest was taken care of well and that they enjoyed their meal. Everything is prepared so fresh here, and is so tasty. This restaurant is a phenomenal new addition to the local scene! Bravo!

This was our first time here and the food was outstanding! Every bite was delicious and left you wanting for more. I had the chicken kebab dinner and I was not disappointed. It was so moist and full of flavor. The vegetables were cooked to perfection, but the green beans were amazing! The service was great and our food was hot. My husband’s food was great too! Another treat was the pita bread with the olive oil. I have never had better. We also got the soup and the zucchini chips which did not disappoint either! We finished up with baklava. It was served with ice-cream. My only complaint was that it wasn’t served warm, but that is just a preference thing I’m sure. It certainly wouldn’t keep me from coming back. If you like Greek food you need to come to this place.

We came here for Easter and the lamb was incredible. Juicy and falls off the bone. My daughter had the filet steak and it was unbelievable. Perfectly cooked.

I made a reservation a month before the event of my daughter’s confirmation dinner and a 4 days before the event I made a confirmation call to give them a heads-up of the number of people that will be coming. My reservation for 22 people for a Saturday dinner went very smoothly without any problem and on top of that I was able to bring 2 small cakes for our dessert without extra charge. The service was excellent the waiter who helped us was very attentive and accommodating. My family ordered different appetizers and they were all so good. We didn’t wait long for all of our main course to be served and they were still warm. The food were so good and my whole family enjoyed our dinner. Our waiter was always there when we need him especially when it was time for us to cut our cake he was very helpful. We all had an awesome dinner and great experience in this restaurant. I highly, highly recommend you guys to eat at Ela Mesa.
