Steak and eggs was fantastic. Steak was smoky and had a more country, spicier seasoning. Eggs were fresh and cooked to sunny side up perfection. They paired well with the hardy portions of potatoes. Atmosphere was fantastic.

As a resident of LA for the past decade, I can confidently say that this restaurant has become my top favorite. The staff are welcoming and the food is outstanding. I highly recommend it, regardless of how long you may have to wait for a table. It is a true iconic spot and well worth a visit to share with friends and family. Bonus, the phone signal is poor inside, perfect to disconnect and enjoy the moment. It’s truly the best of the best, I give it a 5-star rating.

We have visited The Old Place for both inside and outside menus. The food was excellent for both services. However, I must probably give more stars if I could for the outside service. Yes, you have to usually wait in line to place your order. However, the vibe is awesome to be able to eat outside. They have numerous areas spread out across their property and you can easily find an area to eat.

The Old Place has been one of my favorite restaurants for the last 5 years. The food is incredible and the location is beautiful. All wood look and feel, Winery, coffee shop, best steak and eggs or steak burrito you will have in your life. For years we went every Sunday and never disappointed. I would like to see them opening their doors again to seat inside though. The decoration is very original and I would like to be able to enjoy again our private mail room.

Make no mistake, this is all about location. The food was adequate but nothing I would go out of my way for. Do not get the ice tea, it has an odd taste. My main problem was that I asked for a medium rare steak and got an extremely rare steak.
