First time it the Hampton Gyro and Grill. I ordered a chicken Souvlaki platter and thought it was good. The platter had a good portion of chicken that was moist and tasty. A small side salad and pita bread was also included. I love the fact its easy in and easy out. I will be going there again in the near future. The atmosphere is of a very nice fast food place. Very friendly host.

The Mediterranean Wrap was so soggy you had to unwrap the contents to eat it. However, along with the wilted lettuce and 3 chunk pieces of chicken it was completely saturated with Greek dressing. Hence the reason for wilted lettuce and soggy wrap. Basically un-edible. We used to be fans.

This is bare bones fast food and their chef is the Microwave. Moussaka came out cold in the center and hot in the bottom. And their soup is burning hot. No flavor and disgusting microwaved food for $10+

Luckily, just a half mile west of the Sunrise Highway Exit in Hampton Bays, we came upon the Hampton Gyro and Grille on Montauk highway. ONE WORD – WOW! Maybe two WOW-WOW. Owner Mike and his team opened at the end of last September. His black t-shirt clad staff contribute significantly to the secret of his success. Working together as a top cruise line, they turned around our meal in such a quick time, and every item was cooked flawlessly. But, the number one reason is the food.
