I usually go to Abundant African Cuisine but unfortunately they were closed so I tried this place. It was VERY VERY disappointing I order Egusi with fish and goat I got 1 piece of goat meat the fish taste burnt, and I ordered a side of Jollof rice and it taste scorched and burnt. It was NOT good at all and a great disappointment. I will NEVER return here. 27.00 dollars down the drain.

I saw mixed reviews before I got there. Some reviews were really bad and almost got me discouraged, but my visit there was pleasant. Some waiting is inevitable, though. What struck me most was the decent number of none Nigerians who came for take outs.

Worst customer service EVER!!! They are all RUDE, RUDE, RUDE!. Ordered food did not get what I ordered and all they can say is that is what we have. Why ask me what I want and they give me anything? Why are you NIGERIANS lacking any decorum or manners ? You are NOT IN NIGERIA!

I love them. I love my African food as I am African French Indian and native American. I have no complaints. I go all over Chicago and try my people food and they are always good from what I am told. I got mostly goat. Like lugosi, fufu, coconut rice, adolfe rice & plantains. All together 8 dishes. I love my people. My Aunties and Uncle hooked me up. Pleasant and cooked with much love.

Server was disgustingly rude to us from the moment she saw us walk in. She did not want to assist us and we literally had to force her to give us a menu. She was literally mad that we were asking about the soup options, I can’t make this up. Left and went to another place nearby with better service. This place lost a long time Grubhub customer due to extremely poor and deplorable customer service in the restaurant. Just ridiculous

Absolutely disgusting. Went into the restaurant. It smelled like straight up armpits. Waited to be served and sat there for 30 minutes. They ignored our family of 5. The waitress was sweating. I was just all around severely grossed out. I’m surprised it’s been open this long. Run don’t walk. This place is absolutely horrible. I’m actually speechless and trust me that’s a first
