Delicious food in a great atmosphere! We had the eggplant, salt and pepper soft shell crab, dry sizzling shrimp and fish pot, and the Sichuan Maocai pot with sliced beef.

First time trying this place. I had takeout. It was really good, perfect amount of spice which I asked for. The food was ready on time and still hot even after 25 minutes of walking around with it. Plus the portions are more than you think and tasty. Good place for Asian cuisine. Would go there again.

Was on our “Have Some” list. Chicago has always served good Chinese food. Shang Noodle understood the assignment. Shrimp Fried Rice was very good, hot and fresh, cleaned shrimp. Delicious Thank You, glad we had some!

There was a saying that 3.5-star Chinese restaurants were the best. I was following that rule earlier and picked a Szechuan restaurant one block away on Michigan ave rather than this and now I regret.

Visiting from Texas, and the food here in general is amazing. I love asian food, so of course I had to try it here. Amazing experience! I never tasted something so flavorful! Absolutely loved it.

It’s a small and warm place. Lovely decor and light. The staff is helpful and extremely polite. About the food: Please take in consideration I do not like Chinese food and just went because my daughter loves. She said the needle soup was the best she ever ate. I ordered a plate of shrimps and vegetables to split with my husband. As I just mentioned, I don’t like Chinese food so of course I did not like. I was hoping to change my mind but the chef is not there to please someone who is a picky eater. LOL. I am happy my daughter enjoyed the food and I enjoyed the vibe.

All 4 of us had a delicious meal!! I had the beef House Chow Mein and others had hot pot and shrimp fried noodles. So much food! The beef was so nicely cooked, melts in your mouth. I thought it was just on top of the noodles but it was all throughout, very generous portions. They had to roll us out
