Nice lunch at Doggis. The tequenos were excellent, arepas were deep filled and of a good size. The passion fruit juice was very watery and on top of it they filled the glass to the top with ice cubes! Not very keen on the juice, sorry Doggis. Guasacaca lacked taste as it appears it was mainly mayonnaise. Service was efficient and very friendly. Overall it was a enjoyable experience that I’d like to repeat next time I’m in the area.

I visited back in December because i heard they have really good arepas that I must try. I loved the restaurant’s atmospheric and the holiday decorations. I ordered the arepa de pabellón which included shredded beef, fried plantain, black beans, and white cheese. I also ordered a side of tostones, which also came with shredded cheese as well. The food was tasty. The server was nice, but she did get busy as the number of customers increased. If you visit, definitely try the arepas.

The service from Dariana was amazing. The arepa is definitely not the same size it used to be at the other locations. It seems as they are expanding, they are also cutting cost by making the food smaller for the same price. Flavor was great, I can’t complain about it.

Doggies Arepa Bar is a simple but delicious culinary gem, serving consistently exceptional Venezuelan fare in a casual, vibrant setting. Their freshly made arepas, filled with an assorted combination of fresh cheese, sweet plantains, beans, and meat or chicken, are all delicious. The yuca frita with cheese starter is a must-try, perfectly paired with their tangy side sauces. My personal favorite dishes, the ‘Arepa Pabellón’ and ‘Reina Pepiada. Their ‘Fresco de Maracuyá’ offers a refreshing complement to all dishes. Don’t miss the churros for desert.

Clean and comfortable space. I have been to dozens of Venezuelan places in the Miami area and this is definitely the top one. The food was amazing, lots of choices (most Venezuelan places have limited variety) and the service was very professional and personable. Nayexi made our experience unforgettable!!

Yaimet was amazing, very attentive and patient. We order tequeños, mandocas, cachapa con queso de mano and a desayuno criollo; to complement our meal, we order orange juice, passion fruit juice and a Chicha. Taste took us back to what authentic Venezuelan food tastes! Great job Doggi’s team! Keep with the great vibe and flavors! When I’m the area, we are coming back.
