For airport food, this is a good bet. The burgers are good and because of the adjoining food court you don’t have to wait for a table. Big portions. Can be a bit messy. Decent value. Notes for travelers:. in the Midwest they tend to make you a good burger by fully cooking it without asking how you want it. If you’re a snooty food snob who demands raw meat, you need to take your demands elsewhere. Same thing if you expect Pacific Northwest niceness from the staff — expand your horizons and discover that good service doesn’t require sycophants.

Apparently they were 1 worker short … The waitress yelled at me across the kitchen to tell me to shout my order at her … I’m sure she was doing her best – but – it wasn’t the best experience I had at an airport restaurant…Maybe the food and service are better when they are fully staffed? The food was ok – the toaster just broke before I put my order in – so I was served cold bread that didn’t taste very good. Still – as far as serving size – the omelettes are quite large and filling. Conclusion : go when they’re fully staffed and perhaps the experience will be much better.

Wife and I had burgers and shared an order of fries. Burgers were WAY overcooked, to the point of being chewy. Fries were pretty good. Noticed that we were given pepper but no salt. I had to walk to the end of the bar, and asked a girl for some salt, mentioning that all we were given was pepper. She said the salt and pepper look the same and handed me a fistful of the little packets. Went back to my table and found the entire fistful of packets were ALL PEPPER! What an idiot that girl was. I finally went in and found some salt on another table and took it. The bartender who took our order was not exactly Mr. Personality, either. He gruffly told me that our order would take 20-25 minutes. The only good thing about this visit, the food was ready in 10 minutes, but the burgers were still overdone. I DO NOT recommend this place.

The burgers are overdone, the menu features no non-fried sides. The staff will get your order wrong. My burger toppings were wrong even after correcting the order as it was transmitted and getting a bunch of lip from the younger guy who works there. It was not a complicated order, I just wanted no condiments. Go somewhere else.

My wife and I were there for breakfast Wednesday morning October 7. We had the absolute worst service that we have ever received anywhere, anytime. The waitress was rude and nasty. I asked 3 times for my toast that was supposed to come with my breakfast. I was told that they were having issues with their toaster. In the meantime I watched 3 orders of toast be delivered around my table. Each time I asked for my toast, I got a snotty response. She said it was the cooks fault. I don’t care how good the food is, it is unacceptable how we were treated.

The sausage was amazing and the one women working younger with dark hair is super nice and was very attentive but the ONLY reason I gave this only 3 stars is because the older women is the rudest person ever!!! She commented and complained under her breath the whole time I was sitting there and then she was nasty to the other worker….she made a nasty comment at everyone she interacted with or just blatantly ignored them…I fly through Chicago a lot and probably won’t be back if that women is there

OK so compared to everyone else in this airport, this is the best. Here’s why: french fries are amazing, burger is handmade, fresh. Aaaaaaand…the staff is hardworking and you won’t find better service. Yummmm!

Paid $ 35 for warm beer, brown lettuce in my salad, undercooked/cold jalapeño poppers, burnt French fries, and stiff hard crunchy chicken fingers… If I could give this place 0 stars or even less than that, then I would. Don’t ever come here to eat! Plenty of other choices that would do waaay better than this steamy turd of a restaurant! Never coming back to Midway just because of this terrible hole in the wall!

Would not recommend eating here. I placed my order ( chicken tender w/ fries, and buffalo wings) and before I even sat down they called my order number for pick up. Food was cold. Took the wings back and it probably took 15 minutes to get another order. And it was not even busy.

Went for breakfast. Fabulous thick Texas toast, eggs over easy cooked properly, and GIGANTIC, inch-thick pancakes! All for a decent price — will absolutely return the next time I come through Midway.
