This place used to be good, but I dont like the new owner or the guys making the food. It’s been a while since I’ve been around there, but I went in today. The food quality isn’t what it used to be. The last owner was friendly and nice and they used to have some good people in making the food. The Mexican guy that used to work there was awesome, but now the guy making food looks like a bum they hired off the street. Also the prices went up quite a bit, but I dont really focus too much on that because I know that’s the case just about everywhere. I’m just overall disappointed that it wasn’t as good as it used to be. But maybe I’ll try it again one of these days and see if it’s better next time.

A couple of decades ago this used to be ‘the’ place for fried chicken. But sadly can’t say that now as owners have changed about 3 times. My food was not fresh, right after I gave payment. When she the gave me food which I couldn’t believe it was mine b/c I got it so fast. I left feeling like I should’ve told them to make it fresh b/c I knew something would be off b/c I got it so quickly. I shouldn’t have to tell them that, it should automatically be made fresh. It tasted dry and not good. Not returning. And the woman at the register has horrible customer etiquette. She never greeted me and layed my card on the table instead of giving it to me in my hand.

Ah, prison chicken. This is my favorite chicken place in the south loop area. The chicken fingers appear to have come off a mutant chicken that has been given steroids for a few years. It’s a really good deal for the money and I really do like them. They recently started to charge for the hot sauce (0.25).

New owners suck, but the food is da same and that’s really the only saving grace. They can’t get the orders right, either they add more to your order or they give you less but in the end you end up paying for it.
