Our original restaurant, The Old Olive Tree Restaurant, was opened on Long Island, New York, in 1980 by Aspasia and Ilias. It was the first Greek restaurant on the south shore of Long Island.

The Olive Tree Greek Grill, as we know it today, has been located at The Avenue Viera since 2014. Because of the restaurant’s amazing and loyal customers, we are building a new, free-standing location in Borrows West Viera!

My local Greek place closed down. Yes, yes very sad… anyway went to this place and wasn’t disappointed! Saganaki was just chef’s kiss awesome. The Greek salad was super tasty. Loved the dressing. The chicken kabobs were just magical. The garlic sauce was perfect. Just lovely. Very crowded, so be prepared.

This is a great counter service Greek restaurant. The food is fresh and made to order. The meat is perfectly cooked, seasoned and is delicious. The prep area is spotless and so is the rest of the restaurant. The employees are friendly and courteous. Prices are average, but unfortunately if you like to buy extra dressing to take home like we do, it comes at a premium. For some reason they only sell the tiny containers of dressing instead of the larger ones but they charge a premium for them. I end up having to buy 6-7 just to have enough for everyone to enjoy at dinner time.

This is a Lamb dinner plate which costs almost $21 after taxes. Don’t mind the price but there’s not enough meat on there. Just filled with rice and vegetables. I wanted to speak to the restaurant/management before I post a bad review like this but they never responded back.

What a magnificent experience we had. The food, service, and atmosphere were excellent and the establishment was sparkling clean. No sooner a guest departed, a staff member was right there to clean the table and straighten out the chairs. My wife has an animal protein allergy and they were extremely careful not to have cross contamination of the food. Ciara, who assisted us in ordering the food, was very cordial and immediately forwarded the information to the kitchen staff and manager. Thank you so much for making this visit such a pleasant experience.

I stopped by The olive tree for lunch, and I believe I was the first person to come in that morning after opening. The menu had plenty of options, including vegetarian choices if that’s your thing. I had the hummus and falafel, and it was delicious. My son had the steak pita sandwich, also really good. I thought the prices were maybe a bit high but the food quality was really good. For an appetizer and a lunch it was $27ish. There’s outdoor seating, the staff was friendly, and the wait took about 15 minutes or so.
