Great place. Food was good. Love the Greek cuisine. I had the gyro and spanakopita. Wife had the gyro and fish taco. Finished off with Baklava and ice cream. So good! Service was great. You seat yourself and pay the server. Only cons would be the spanakopita should be at least two pieces in my opinion. Otherwise overall, great atmosphere, definitely a great local place to try.

Trojan Horse or TroHo, as my friends and I call it, is a Bloomington staple. I’ve been dining here since the mid 1980s and will dine at the “Horse” when I can, well into the future!!! The menu has been relatively the same since 1978, offering exceptional greek food to hungry Hoosiers. I always get the “Super G” with the fried mixed vegetables… I also recommend trying one of the artisan cocktails served from the upstairs bar!!! Enjoy

It’s a very nice place and the staff is very friendly. Drinks are top notch. Specially the Adults-OnlyBaklava Milkshake. Gyros Dinner is mediocre. The combination is so and so. The side salad was great. So took away one star. Sandwiches looks good. Didn’t taste them unfortunately. It’s a busy location. So best to make a reservation before turning up with a larger group.

Is Trojan Horse under new management? This was once a place I would recommend for out-of-towners, but not anymore. Gyro meat was bland and the texture wrong. Hummus tasted like Sabra picked up at Costco. Everything seemed cheaper except the price.

Trojan Horse is a great place to grab lunch in downtown Bloomington. We started with the hummus. It was tasty and the pitas it was served with were warm. The Gyro was great! Very flavorful but I wish the feta was a bit more crumbled I got but chunks that overpowered the rest of the contents in some of the bites. Overall the lunch was great! Will definitely be back.

A good solid choice for food in Bloomington. Nothing truly spectacular, but quite good. Good variety, including a very reasonable selection for vegetarians.

Wow! That was good. Big portions at great prices. Traditional Greek fare. Today, 3-4-20, they had a special; app, two mains, and desert for $30. We ordered two of their samplers which included Greek salad, hummus, flaming cheese dish?, dolmas, spanakopita, tabouli, moussaka, gyros, souvlaki, falafel, and baklava. We couldn’t finish it all. Soooooo goood!

I ordered one of the Gyros and was impressed by the quality of their Gyros meat, but was really disappointed with the rest of it. The tzatziki was overall just nasty and the toppings were all very bland. I remember eating here a few years ago and thought the food was much much better.

Terrible food and terrible service. Last time I had experience this bad was years ago. Food was blend, not even enough salt, firget the spices. You can imagine the size of there entree as it comes in a small side plate or bread plate. An appetizer is generally bigger than that. Kabob has four pieces of meat with plain rice. Fish entree had burnt rice which had pieces hard like stones which the next person can hear cracking in your mouth. When I told the server about the rice, she did not even ask to change that. I left the entire food and was even charged for that. Left hungry with the worst day for lunch ever
