DeNucci’s is inspired by the Italian-American red sauce joints, we have grown to love. Seated in a dining room that evokes an inviting ambiance, old-school Italian charm, and fresh appeal, guests will enjoy classics like Artichoke Vesuvio, Mozzarella al Forno, and Veal Marsala.
DeNucci’s is the 9th restaurant to join the Ballyhoo Hospitality family by adding 150 hot and saucy seats across the street from its founding concept Gemini.
Based on 38 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 4.7 stars. Price

The restaurant is located in a nice little neighborhood. We had a big party and got to sit inside. The music was on point and the interior design was so cute. Daniel, our waiter was great. Everything was delicious! And we almost ate everything on the menu… The appetizers, pasta, pizza, meats, and dessert were incredibly flavorful. I even got to kiss chef Jose at the end of the meal.

Highly Recommend: everything was on point at this place, atmosphere inside/out is great, service fantastic, and food was great. I will be back and recommend to anyone.

Outstanding service, food, and nostalgic and iconic location. Denucci’s will brighten your day. Try their amazing chicken parm and double down on their Old Fashioned! This is a Chicago must-have and another home run by Ryan O’Donnell and Ballyhoo.

Denuccis has a great look to it when you walk in with an old school feel and dark vibes. Unfortunately the food just wasn’t very good. We started with the garlic knots which were bland. The spicy pepperoni pizza gave dominos vibes. I managed to finish 1& 1/2 pieces and left the rest behind. The lobster mezzalune lacked depth and the tagliatelle bolognese was average at best. Overall denuccis was 2.5/5 stars for me.

A great addition to the Old Town/Lincoln Park neighborhood! Would definitely suggest the spaghetti limone and pistachio sundae! Delicious!! Service was great and it was only their 2nd night open. We can’t wait to come back.

How many newly opened restaurants do you visit one week into service that are pretty much perfect -basically none but DeNuccis didn’t disappoint! Bravo Ballyhoo! The cocktails were fantastic and every dish was delicious. Try the Bruschetta and the Pizzas are the best NY style I have had in Chicago. DeNuccis has amazing ambience they really have done a great job renovating. It was also packed at 8:30pm on a Wednesday night so clearly others have realized the gem this place is in a neighborhood where there are very few great places to eat.

Everything about my experience at DeNucci’s was 10/10. We were celebrating an anniversary and the front staff added that to our menu’s to make it an extra special dinner.

A lovely, buzzy, fresh and welcome addition to Lincoln Park’s increasingly unfortunate and tiresome food scene. My family and I had a wonderful meal of well executed Italian (and certain Italian-American) dishes, wines and cocktails. Our server was attentive and personable and we were all very taken with the aesthetic and feel of the restaurant. Very happy with the whole situation.

We are big Ballyhoo fans & Denuccis did not disappoint! Great menu with tons of options, a fun/family-friendly vibe, and a spacious bar! We were there to celebrate my in-laws’ anniversary, and when we arrived the menus were all customized with an anniversary message. Thoughtful and cute! 🙂

I just ate here tonight with my sister for her birthday after having the reservation for 3 weeks. We ordered the garlic knots which had zero flavor, the Caesar salad which ended up being the best thing we had surprisingly, and the Tuesday night special: lasagna. The lasagna came out and was ice cold in the center – clearly it was premade and attempted to be heated up to be served. The meal overall was a 3/10 and very disappointing in regards to the taste and quality. We did not even order dessert for my sisters birthday because of how disappointing everything else was. The manager was very nice when we let them know about the lasagnas and immediately comped our drinks, but that was not enough for us to give this place another chance. There was no reaction when we told him that it was cold inside – which says it all. I’m not sure who is writing the other reviews on here but the great experiences and food mentioned are not something we experienced.
