Some of the best Greek food I’ve ever had! Christos is an excellent server and quite the photogenic character after opening the restaurant 51 years ago! Nice atmosphere. We totally enjoyed our meal. Restroom could use some cleaning, but it is not gross or anything. We enjoyed hearing some of the info from when Christos worked on the Onassis ship and cooked for Jackie O.

I was in Pittsburgh for a conference for 5 days. I came here 2 times. Christos is around and makes the experience so incredible. He is so kind and has plenty of great recommendations. I had the country salad with gyro meat (awesome) and the lemon potatoes (great). The second time I came I had some greek coffee and the famous dessert which was worth the hype. The whole time I felt so welcome and cared for. If I ever return to Pittsburgh, I will be back.

If you want to escape 2023 and feel like you’re living in a time where the world was happy and food was made with real ingredients by hand and with love, go to this restaurant as often as you can. I can honestly say, and I am in restaurants daily, this is the best restaurant in the area hands down. Every dish is served with care and passion for culinary arts. The restaurant is full of history with each dish having a fascinating story behind it. The owner is serving his guests with kindness and passion his life’s work with every interaction. Every bite nourishes the soul. The food and drinks are presented on truly luxury dinnerware and gold serving platters. It is really amazing to see. For a magical experience that still has me pinching myself, this is the place. Thank you for one of the most memorable, joyful, and delicious evenings.

What a lovely place! The owner was so nice and interesting. Food was healthy and delicious. And the prices were sooo reasonable. We were with a group of 14 and we couldn’t believe the price for the food. We also had a bunch of kids and the kids liked the food as well. Highly recommend. Also had vegetarian options.

The food was incredible but the service was what made our visit so enjoyable. The homemade wine was delicious and the food was so good that we decided to order a few meals to bring home. All of the dishes they offer are authentic and made to order. The Chef and waiter were both knowledgeable and attentive which ensured that we had a great meal. I will definitely add another stop to Christos during my next trip to Pittsburgh.
