Established in 2004. Almita’s was born to cater the growing Hispanic population in the Woodbridge area. We want for our customers to have a great experience with us from the moment they enter to after they leave, starting with a sincere welcome, good service, tasty food and cleanliness. We serve food made to order, and make our meals in our premisses, so you are sure to get something really close to a home cooked meal. We do not use second party providers for our dishes and we also make our own corn tortillas. This makes Almita’s different than the rest.

Everything was very good. Very nice clean place I thought they had just opened. The food was good and a good price. We will be coming back. Got the ceviche and steak fajitas. Also a pitcher of the peach margarita which was fantastic.

I’ve passed by this spot hundreds of thousands of times. The food was mediocre. When I step through the door the smell that hit me in the nose was dampness and moldy. The complimentary chips and salsa was ok!! I had the combination steak chicken and shrimp fajitas wasn’t quite prepared right. I looked at the steak immediately it didn’t appear to be fresh. I tried eating/chewing i had to remove it from my mouth. I don’t think I’ll be going back!!

What an awesome hidden gem. My wife and I went on a lunch date st noon on a Friday and had the place to ourselves. A small quaint place that only seats 22 plus around 10 at the bar. At first we wondered if they served chips & salsa and what was taking do long. What a pleasant surprise when the waitress arrived not only with Chips & salsa but freshly made mint, orange and line water, so refreshing. My wife finally tried lingua tacos and liked then but still can’t get past what they are. That said they were made perfectly, so tender. The tres Amigos enchilada meal was so good and not your same bland 3 enchiladas. The beef enchilada with the green chili was my favorite. We also tried their Pupusa combo which was good. We will be back

Not a fan of the seafood enchilada which had almost no seafood – 2 small shrimp and 4 pieces of small fish pieces. The red snapper was cooked well but all the flavor was in the tail. My 3 yo would not eat the 2 chicken tacos, I ate the ok chicken from the tacos to salvage what we spent.. $72 to pickup our meal. Our 2nd time, we have learned our lesson.
