Petos Authentic Greek Cuisine hits that spot. I’ve had many lamb chops and lamb shanks and these were prepared very nicely but what really impressed me was their rice. It was definitely a contender for the top 3 all time. Perfectly fluffy tastefully seasoned steamy and fresh. The red sauce was excellent and their cheeses were very good. Excellent go to on Main Street in Carmel.

1st time here last night as I travel for work and search out Greek restaurants. Friendly, Greek atmosphere as I was greeted by two hostess’. Upon seating I ordered the Saganaki (flaming cheese) and Avglomeno soup (chicken rice). Both were excellent! The Saganaki was not overpowering like I’ve had elsewhere, it was just right.

Tried for first time over the weekend. My lemon chicken was quite good, well seasoned, flavorful, without being too lemon dominate. The rice was perfectly cooked and veggies were tasty. My wife did not like the gyro platter at all. Meat was very dry and not too flavorful. Service was excellent, friendly people everywhere.

This was written before they moved: The food was great for the price. I would definitely go here again. I can tell they make most meals in-house. Their pita was tasty and warm when it came out. My suggestion is to try the TIROKAFTERI. This is the first place I have seen this offered and it is definitely worth trying here. The chef was nice and she let me know that they are moving soon to a new location, which I will happily be frequenting.

Spaghetti with meat sauce was the best we’d ever had. Salad and hummus with pita bread were wonderful. Nice wine choices. Quaint atmosphere, great service (very personable). Authentic Greek experience. Will definitely be back!
