Spicy Jelly fish app – served cold. Gummy texture, with a salt flavor, pretty much like you would think a jellyfish tastes. Wasn’t very spicy. I didn’t hate it, but probably wouldn’t order again.

My vegetarian friend was met with little respect and I requested to substitute white rice instead of fried noodles .. impossible for them dispute them serving lots of white rice…oh well.

We ordered the crab meat soup, soft shell crab, and the szechuan style mix seafood. Everything tasted great. The crab meat soup felt like the perfect warm meal on a rainy day (it was raining that day). The soft shell crab had nice crisp and peppery flavors, and being able to eat the crab without having to remove the shell was an experience to die for. That was my favorite part of the meal. The szechuan seafood mix has great flavor, but it seems like seafood used in this dish was frozen due to the texture. Considering we are pretty much in the middle of the country, there is little to complain about. I highly recommend this place!

I am a Cantonese and always trying find authentic Cantonese cuisine in Chicago. Although it still can’t match hometown flavor and quality, this restaurant is one of the two that i revisit all the time. Steam fish and lobsters were always good. Some stored fried dishes are ok. Big portions.

came for dinner on a friday night with family and was seated immediately—no wait, but still a very bustling and popular environment. solid spot for hk style seafood! dishes were flavorful (a little on the salty side), fried dishes were super crispy, and the scallops were sooo garlicky and good (a little on the tougher side but still very tasty). the eggplant was amazing and that’s coming from someone who thinks eggplant is just okay hahaha. also, each dish you order comes with a bowl of rice! overall, (mostly) economical spot for some yummy eats in chinatown 🙂

So good! We were here a few days ago and then came back because it’s so good. We got the salt and pepper fish fillet and the golden egg yolk pumpkin and they were both fantastic. They were crispy and seasoned to perfection. I didn’t think I would like the pumpkin as much but I got it because all of the other reviewers recommended it and I did not regret it! This is one of our new favorites in chinatown.

Food was really good but not amazing. Giant clam was a bit tough and the steam fish was a bit bland. Pea leaves and lobster were great. Service was great and overall I would go back again.

This restaurant was on my must try restaurants list because of the roasted duck in the menu. When I read the menu I saw that they have a pigeon dish . I had a few questions about the dish such as how its cooked, what comes with it etc since there was no explanation on the menu. When I asked to the gentleman who was helping us, he kept on saying that no I wouldn’t like it , but I kept insisting on my questions because I was really intrigued by the dish. He continuously responded the same ♀️ I guess he thought that I am not capable of eating pigeon by just looking at me well, let me tell you now that I have eaten pigeon so many times before lol.

Came on Sunday morning & it was packed in the small place but I was able to get a table. Service was fast. The dim sum was super hot & fresh & they had some menu items I haven’t seen on other dim sum menus. I especially loved the shrimp chive dumplings & the Chinese sausage over rice. I liked this place because it’s smaller & cozier than the other dim sum places around. Will definitely be back for dim sum & their regular menu items.

The freshest& most well-cooked seafood I’ve ever had! Oysters were extremely meaty and juicy. Seasoning was perfect to bring out the flavor of the food itself.
