This is a fantastic restaurant with traditional soul food! We ordered chicken wings with garlic mashed potatoes and green beans served with a side of corn bread and also an order of oxtails over white rice with Mac n cheese and collard greens also served with a piece of cornbread. The wait for food was extremely reasonable (about 20 minutes) and the food tasted great! Will definitely be visiting again before our trip is over! If in the area definitely give this family owned and operated restaurant a try! The husband and wife are so nice, friendly and welcoming!

We are from out of town. It was our 1st meal here. My wife and i are Low Carb/Keto for our Diabetes. So finding food can be hard. Our girlfriend can eat anything. So we gave up our cornbread which she loved with her oxtail and rice. They have a pasta oxtail dish but our girlfriend ordered rice instead with cream corn and mash potatoes. She got her money worth and was happy. My wife and i ordered roasted chicken and greens and cabbage. We were confused both were sweet. But the cabbage was nice. I put hot sauce on greens. Overall we enjoyed our meals and would go back. I love supporting Black Owned and ran business.

Make sure to stop in on your Niagra travels! This building stands out because of the beautiful blue paint. You can’t miss 829! We were greeted and served by the beautiful and friendly Miss Boss Lady! She made sure our drinks were full and offered suggestions so we got the best of the best! The food is finger licken good, maybe even lick the bowl good. One a bite of the catfish nuggets gave us goosebumps! The greens were so delicious we slurped up the broth. The oxtails cooked to perfection falling off the bone. Cornbread was moist and flavorful. Music bumping in the background fitting the vibe. We left full and had leftovers. They also have dessert options as well. Worth the walk and worth every dollar!! We’ll certainly be returning!!

this is hands down the best restaurant i have ever eaten at. the food was absolutely amazing, the service was incredible and everyone was super nice. the atmosphere and everything else is just spectacular!! i wish i lived closer so i could eat here all the time.

We came from NYC to visit the Niagara Falls and found this to be the best restaurant we visited in our stay. We recommend this place better than all the recognized restaurant brands. If your in a group I recommend you guys try the combo orders we got 16 piece with 3 sides.

All of the food was amazing. We had pulled pork, fried chicken, ribs, cornbread, Mac and cheese, baked beans, collard greens, and dirty rice, and dessert. Portions are larger than you would expect, but you will definitely want the leftovers later! Definitely my new favorite restaurant! If you haven’t tried it, you must. Trust me you won’t be disappointed!

Visiting the falls I met a local and he said it has the best food around and he didn’t lie. The fried wings were cooked to perfection, tasted delicious and plated beautifully. Mac N Cheese and candied yams were good. The same with the chicken and waffles! The chicken and rib combo was great and the greens and potatoe salad all had a great taste and flavor. The strawberry shortcake was delicious. No shade but it was better than the big name destination spots in Harlem NYC. We wish we could try the entire menu. They close at 9pm so don’t wait too late and it has to become a bucket list Soul Food destination spot. And they give you your moneys worth. Take it from a certified foodie!

We were in town visiting from Virginia and we heard about this restaurant from our bar tender at our hotel. She bragged about the food being the bomb. So my husband, daughter and myself had to try it and it was amazing. It was a bit of a wait but it was worth it. The owner was spectacular and they make the food hot and fresh to order. I can’t wait to come back to visit this restaurant. I wish them nothing but success with this soul food they are serving up. May God continue to bless this business.
