Came in on a Saturday at 11. First people in the building. Ordered the all you can eat pulled pork. Apparently that means you’ll get your food and finish the plate and wait a good 30 minutes to see your server again. I’m the only table in the building. No excuses.

We were helped at the front by someone that I don’t think usually seats people because she directed us to a booth that was hidden in a corner, hadn’t even been cleaned off, and without handing us menus or even walking us over, then she turned around and walked away. The lady that was serving the bar, take out orders, and our waitress (too many roles for one person, in my opinion) came over and cleaned and wiped down the table for us.

The service and quality is not as good as the one down in Sarasota. Love the redneck eggrolls. Travis was the waiter in the next section, wish we had him. He seemed awesome. We had some mopey waitress Taylor, who seemed like she was new, messed up our order, didn’t refill water, no butter for the cornbread or sour cream for potato, and pushed the receipt on us.

Attempted to have dinner at this restaurant. Service was so pathetic that I eventually walked out without ordering. I can’t remember the last time I ever had such bad service that I did that. After finally being seated in a near empty restaurant, I was totally ignored. I read the menu totally several times and waited. No Server. I waited some more and reread the entire menu. No Server. Finally after it was obvious no one was coming to help or take my order, I left. The staff did not even look up. I would avoid this restaurant. You better believe I am.

Went in this sunday. Place was low staffed or seemed. Stood at wait counter to be seated for a few minutes. Finally asked a woman cleaning tables if i could sit at a table. She said yes. I observed 9 tables all with drinks and not one table had food. I witnessed a server yelling at a guy in the back who im assuming is a cook or food runner. I waited exactly 13 minutes and still nobody greeted me. I took my menu that was on the table up to the lady at the bar. Said i am leaving. She just said “ok sorry” that was it. Nothing like i should stay and ill be helped or wait a minute ill get a manager. Nothing. From time standing at front plus the 13 minutes was close to total time of 20 minutes. Wont be back

Good food (5 stars) but the service (1 star) is terribly slow. We’ve eaten there numerous times, same problem. The last time we were there they were not that busy but we could not get seated and finally left. Won’t be back.

I stopped in by Sonny’s BBQ this evening for dinner to go. I ordered the BBQ Sampler platter and it was outstanding. I was really impressed with the service. The staff took care of my order in a fast and friendly manner. I would definitely recommend visiting Sonny’s BBQ when you are in the Bradenton area.

On a scale of 1to 10 i’d rate it -3. The burger was over cooked and resembled a hockey puck, the chicken was undercooked like it could have given samanella, the French fries were bricks and the lemonade was lemon water (pretty much water with two lemons in it for flavor. The salad was okay but had rotten pieces in it. We only enjoyed the bread.
